Stairway or Freebird?
 

Two classically overplayed classics. If you had to spend eternity listening to one, which would it be? "NO STAIRWAY!" or "FREEBIRD!"?

We are talking album versions of both, but I suppose if you have heard a particularly moving/long rendition of one you could vote based on that.

I voted for Freebird because while Stairway is cool, I have heard it way too much. Also, Freebird is longer and if I am going to spend eternity listening to the song I would rather it be the longer one because I think it would feel less repetitive that way.

I made the poll because my iTunes is on random right now and they happened to come up within a few songs of each other, though I am sure I am probably not the first mortal man to have posed this question. I think I would choose most of the rest of Zep over most of the rest of Skynyrd though.

tbh freebird the song is probably better but stairway from the solo onwards is brilliant. i never really got the fuss otherwise. zeppelin have far better songs.
