Ive been on the hunt recently for femaie fronted metal bands.

There are a bunch of bands I really enjoy...

Arch Enemy
In This Moment
Lacuna Coil
Otep
Nightwish

I was wondering if you could let me in on a few that you like so I could give them a listen. I have been trying to find new songs to listen to at work because the same stuff over and over again has gotten pretty annoying.

Arch Enemy is the only true female (lead singer) band. The others are sort of metal, but not really.

I don't really listen to any female fronted band. I do own some Nightwish albums and they're not that bad... just not really my taste.

Shame SRC only had one album really. I liked it a lot.

Crisis. Heard they were pretty good.....

Nightwish is terrible.We understand that 80 of Metal is classical music played on downtuned guitars with power chords. Why you have to rub it in with shitty fake opera vocals is beyond me...

These probably aren't "metal" enough, but they're female fronted and heavy: Gatja (Especially their second record, Through the Looking Glass) and Jiva.
