I hate that WWE edits out the shit on their DVD's. Thats one of the few reasons I rather enjoy watching the ppv and taping it. Then you dont have to worry about some wrestlers mistake being taken out or the mentioning of someone being gone from a speech.

Yes, Chris Benoit was one of the best to ever lace a pair of boots. But how do you honor a man's accomplishments and his past, without having the entire thing be marred with his final 72 hours. It's still, after all this time, one of those things that I simply can't understand. His wife is bad, his son is beyond my comprehension. Can you separate the man from the killer? I know I can't, and don't think we should either.

Plus, and this is a REAL easy move on WWE's part, they don't want to be accused of making even a penny off of Chris Benoit's name. So they edit it out. It's really a fine PR move. So I wouldn't expect to ever see Chris Benoit so much as mentioned on WWE programming again.

Personally I think they should not advertise his name as much as you can but not delete anyone from history. However, it's Vince McMahon's company and he can do what he likes.
