Has it been confirmed we're going to get one? There have been years without drafts after all...haven't been reading the dirt sheets though so I dunno.

Got a pony on Youell being drafted to Smackdown.

So you noticed all the talk about a draft, but not all the talk in the same threads that one wasn't confirmed?

It was originally supposed to be the night they did the KotR, but obviously they'd changed it.

If I had to guess, assuming there will be one, I'd say it would be sometime in mid-late June.

So this is everyone just assuming then?

There are still talk of moves, but the date that was alleged for the draft was skipped. Who knows if they'll do one soon?

People are mostly assuming because they've happened in the past. IT's ALMOST a given, but almost only counts in horseshoes and nukes.

Do you have any inside information? I would like some action on this.

So there was a planned date for it. That makes what peple are saying make more sense. It just seems like people are forgetting that they've opted to not have a draft a few times in the past. It would hardly be a first if they just simply didn't do it as they've done before. But like I said, I haven't been reading the dirt sheets so I didn't know if this was confirmed o0r just something people were assuming they were going to do just because. Anywho...

They apparently had the draft scheduled for the KotR spot since November.

Wonder why they didn't go through with it...

I guess they decided to boost ratings with the King of the Ring instead of a draft, or just postpone the draft as a later ratings spike.

The other possibility is that the WWE realised that the draft means very little, with guys jumping over all the time. Kane and Chavo Guerrero recently officially joined the ECW roster without an official trade/draft, Batista wrestles Shawn Michaels a lot, Jeff Hardy and MVP wrestled at Judgment Day, Jonathan Coachman got moved to SmackDown! as color commentator with no real explanation, The Highlanders appeared all over the place when Rory was healthy, etc.

There is no kayfabe need for a draft, as guys move about freely, and you can set up roster moves very easily. It'll just come down to whether or not the WWE feels like it needs a cheap ratings spike for the next three-hour edition of RAW, or something.
