Depends on how he dies tbh. If it was something as sudden as Eddie, that would suck, and he would be remembered as the worlds greatest wrestler.
Freddie Blassie style- He'd be a fond memory, that we all adore, but not seen as the greatest anything.
Chris Benoit Style- Everyone would turn their backs on him, 'cept for a few people. It woudl suck, but within 6 months every other thread would have a joke about Bret Hart killing his wife and children. Maybe a comment about how he's more edited out than the fabled F in the WWE dvds.
