Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral
 

I read about this at UHM the other night. I thought the first movie was decent, but I completely despised the second movie. Not only where there no storyline explainations but there was no advancement either.

The third movie will feature the return of Gina Phillips (the girl from the first movie) who knows that the coming of the Creeper is near and she is bent on destroying him once and for all.

I think it's cool that they're bringing Phillips back, but I can't see this going anywhere simply because I've lost faith in the series.

I enjoyed both films. Nothing groundbreaking but a good saturday night flick none-the-less. I gotta say I don't approve when the "bring back characters from the first film". To me it always feels like their saying "The second one wasn't as good as the first, so let's try and redo the first".

I enjoyed the first two, also do not agree with using old characters. The movies set up a decent reason why Creeper would terrorize a completely different set of people.

Who cares, she was hot.

In what... the movie?

What got me was how she wasn't objectified as the hot horror movie chick, she even presented herself in place of her brother in the movie's best scene. Its one of the reasons why I liked the movie.

But I guess she's pretty, in an older sibling 'my sis isn't ugly' sort of way. Don't find her sexy at all.

Here's the official plot, which reveals a huge plot hole...

"Set 23 years after the previous film, we follow Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), who is now a mother. Realizing that the return of the Creeper is just around the corner, she begins to have terrible recurring nightmares of her own teenage son confronting the creature and suffering the same fate as her deceased brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, she's determined to finally put an end to the Creeper once and for all."

Gina Phillips was probably what? 20 years old in the first film? That means the second film happened 23 years later, making her 43 years old. 23 years after that film, she's going to be 66 years old in the film?

Perhaps I'm reading that wrong... I don't know.

The second film happens days(maybe weeks?) after the first, with a scene at the end taking place 23 years after that. I assume the third film would take place in that timeline.

Meh. Every pretty face woman don't have to be hot the way you're talking, and Maxim would give my mother a page if it could expand their page count (no offense, I like Maxim - just sayin).

Like I said, she's pretty but "Hot", "Fine", "Smokin" and all that are terms that shouldn't be passed out.

LOL - saw the second one and it was quite funny

The 1st one was good, until you saw the man in the rubber suit, both films then sucked from that point on

the First was good until you find out its a fucking flying spaghetti monster, not some fucking loony.

The 2nd was good until the think eats body parts/absorbs a head and some Ahab wanna be red neck starts HARPOONING THE FUCKING THING WITH A POST POUNDER.

I mean, come on, what the fuck was that all about.

Oh. and when it loses its legs and does the leaping push ups, I fucking lol'd. What shitty movies.
