Good stuff right here, in my humble opinion. This is KENTA vs SUWA for the GHC junior heavyweight title, from Sept of 2005. You get KENTA, basically being the firery and somewhat cocky ass kicker that he is, pre junior killer auto-pilot mode, and SUWA is just SUWA, which is good enough for me. If you don't know who Suwa is, he's pretty much one of the most efficient "heels" Japan had at the time. He's retired now unfortunately. Still, right from the begining, even during the opening ceremonies, he's just an ass, and the crowd hates him for it.

This is just a cool match all around, and I personally love the ending...

On a side note, I would kill for a one on one match between KENTA and Shingo.

Seen it before but a very hot match. If anyoen is looking to find out why people rave over KENTA this match is a fine example, and if you don't see it after this match he's (and junior wrestling in general) is probably not for you.

To be honest, I rave over KENTA more for his underdog matches with heavyweights, and his early tag matches with Maru, etc. I should also probably get the match where KENTA won the belt from Kanemaru...

I also just found out that Kanemaru and Suzuki beat KENTA and Ishimori for the junior tag straps... Not sure what I think about that one...

I'm not going to argue over your tastes. But to me this is the epitome of modern Junior action and easily in my top 3 KENTA matches.

Also this is the first I've heard about the title change. After quick research I see it happend yesterday so no wonder this is news.

He tags more with Kobashi than Ishimori anyways doesn't he? Everytime I see a card or read results it always seem he's either tagging with Kobashi in some shape or form...

NOAH sort of teams everyone with everyone to an extent. So KENTA probably is paired with Kobashi in a lot of random tags, and probably more 6-mans. Taiji Ishimori and KENTA though were doing more of a proper team up lately though., sort of like hat Kotaro and Marvin were doing a bit ago, Kotaro and Kanemaru now, Mori and Yone, Akiyama/Rikkioh back in the day, etc.

Kev you should do Kobashi/KENTA vs Sasuke/Nakajima :cool:

Watched that match this morning actuaully. Hotness.
