I always figured the reason for the difference in names was either a) an overabundance of logos or something to do with ratings. What is the reasoning for the change at the 10 o clock hour?

Yeah, wiki says it's done for rating purposes.

RAW is technically counted as two shows in the ratings, the first hour (RAW/RAW is War) and the second hour (RAWZone/War Zone).

WWE Monday Night RAW is technically counted as two separate shows in the Neilsen ratings: the first hour, from 9:00 EST to 10:00 EST (RAW, formerly known as RAW is War) and the second hour from 10:00 EST to 11:05 EST (RAWZone, formerly known as War Zone).

I miss Warzone

From what I recall is if it was all one show, it would be considered primetime. However the second have is not considered prime time due to the break up. Thus their ratings look better or something. But yeah, all deals with ratings.

So, in conclusion:
