Randy Orton re-injures collarbone, out 3 more months.
The following is from WWE.com:
Randy Orton was involved in a motorcycle accident resulting in him re-injuring his collarbone. Orton had initially injured his collarbone last June at One Night Stand, during his confrontation with Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship. As a result of re-injuring the collarbone, Orton will be out of action for three months. ------------------ Wow. Bad news for Orton fans. :-\ |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
FUCK THIS! |
Reading that makes me think of this:

What the fuck.

Mother
Fucker. |
Its a work. They're setting up Randy Orton versus Chuck Palumbi.
|
Damn, that does suck.
|
They ban the shooting star press but not the highway easy rider?
|
Work.
|
I bet he shat himself.
|
I bet it's a work. EVERYTHING IS A WORK!
|
For those that think this is a work, why? What does WWE have to gain.
For those being sarcastic about it being a work. How is your hammer hanging? |
I'll only believe it's a work, if we have some *exclusive* footage of the accident, on RAW or even worse on WWE.com.
Don't worry though, he'll probably be back in time to win the '09 Royal Rumble. (spoiler, maybe/probably) ;) |

Haha owned.

If this is true, is sucks. Damn and he was supposed to be back at Summerslam. And I'm still waiting on my RNN updates.
|
WEll It could be a work because, he was rumored to be back this sunday and WWE sometimes goes out of it's way to dispell rumors. No real logic, just more of a hunch.
|
What an idiot. Did what happen to that Steeler Quarterback teach him nothing!?
|
Dude, he has the memory of a WWE employee. What do you think?
|
Considering how they explained this on raw, i think it definitely a work. Why they've gone down this route i don't know though.
|
Is it me, or are injured wrestlers always out for a number of months that are multiples of three?
Like... "Orton is expected to be out for 3 months"... or 6 months... or 9 months... ??????? |

Add to that, the fact that Cole and King weren't even on camerea when they mentioned it AND there were no details other than the impressive 300' flight he took, I see no reason to suspect anything "in the works". |

Good. I'm glad Orton wasn't seriously hurt and all, but if I don't see him in a WWE ring again, I'm not likely to complain anytime soon.

When was he SUPPOSED to return? Soon?
|
The one thing that doesn't make sense to me is that apparently the collarbone is the only injury he has. He had a death-defying throw from a motorcycle and nothing else was injured? It seems an accident like that would have other injuries.
|
Maybe he accidentally landed in a landfill which accidentally had syringes full of steroids lying around and he accidentally landed on them, injecting himself.
Accidentally. |

...Did I mention it's still real to me? |

Also, speaking of similarities, I would like to bring up an instance from my personal history:
One night, two friends and I were in an accident that sent our car spinning thru the air and landed over 400ft from where we left the road. The car was completely destroyed, inside and out, and the worst injury was the driver's dislocated thumb. Point being, there's nothing illogical about his recent weak spot being the #1 area to receive damage, and since he waswearing a helmet, I don't persponally doubt any more than a few scrapes and bruises at 30 mph. If this turns out to be the work that everyone has sunk their teeth into, great -- you were al right from the start, and cheers to that. But calling it "suspicios" and whatnot is a little goofy. |
Yeah, I can't see what is suspicious about it. If they wanted to to do some kind of injury work, they would just leak reports that he is going to be out a few more months. No need for a motorcycle accident.
|
This also means that we'll likely get three months of Chris Jericho and Kane being higher on the top heel list, which I love.
|
As my post above. Anyone who "falls" 300ft, and is back in 3 months, either needs to do advertising the leathers he was wearing, or is plainly part of a work.
|
Or there was nothing deadly in his way and he's not a pussy.

Moonraker, a friend of mine was ejected from my Chevy Caprice as it rolled into a ditch. I was lucky enough to be kicked back on solid ground. It knocked the wind out of me, left me blacked out for a couple of seconds. He got hurled over an embankement. His worst injury, with no helmet or leathers? A concussion. May car wasn't completely wrecked like the example AL's giving, but he fell down an embankment after being ejected by a rather heavy vehicle (Many times what Orton's Motorcycle likely weighed). It wasn't moving at full speed, but even ten miles an hour could very easily deliver twice the force of a motorcycle accident, and that's assuming Orton was being a reckless asshat. You know, because he is one. EDIT: One of the main reasons motorcycle accidents are so dangerous, by the way, is the lack of safety features in cars. A car's frame will crumple to cushion the blow, and you have seatbelts to keep you from being ejected, etc. So once you take away factors like protection, you're talking a much more dangerous scenario than a bike. |

But ok, we'll see. Either way, I want him back now. Age of Orton please. |
