Jeff Hardy reportedly suffered a broken neck at Tuesday night's SmackDown/ECW taping. He was scheduled to do an autograph signing at a Best Buy in Rockford, Illinois yesterday, but Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase replaced him. Hardy was also advertised for last night's house show in Rockford, but did not appear. WWE.com is still advertising the Jeff Hardy vs. MVP match for tomorrow night's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

MVP may win a match against a legit wrestler one on one!

Would anyone be shocked if it was true? He's been dodging that bullet for years.

End's of a shit 2008 for him though. Given a lot of the crap that has happened is his own fault, nobody deserves to get hurt.

I checked the Obsever just to be sure. They're saying that he didn't suffer a broken neck but rather had some fluid around his elbow that wouldn't drain well. If he had broken his neck, I doubt he'd still be wrestling on Sunday. He's stupid but the WWE won't let anyone, cept Kurt Angle, wrestle with a broken neck.

Boy...Jeff really knows how to fuck it all up, doesn't he? =P

After all the Benoit jokes, who has any right to get their panties in a wad joking about a guy whose career revolves around nearly killing himself for a paycheck?
