I've never seen anywhere around here that serves snails, would love to give them a shot though. I've heard they don't have a strong flavour, which is why you cook them up with some garlic butter or something.

I don't think a single dish was snails in garlic butter on Iron Chef. On guy was Indian (dot head, not tonto), and he did a bunch of Indian style dishes with crazy spices.
I was fairly impressed with Dave though, he didn't make an ass out of himself. Also there were a few cracks about him being big and giving him large portions and whatever and he just laughed it off. |
