RP 11-15-2008 06:52 PM

lita

Nark Order 11-15-2008 08:33 PM

From what I hear, it was a botched running powerbomb by none other than D'Lo Brown.

Funky Fly 11-15-2008 08:59 PM

The only thing deadlier than a D'lo Bomb is the dreaded Flying Dad Bomb

Yup

The Mackem 11-16-2008 02:31 PM

Didn't D'Lo slip on a wet patch in the ring?

Disturbed316 11-16-2008 03:41 PM

Yeah, according to Have A Nice Day, D'lo slipping and dumped Droz on his head, and never left his bed side at the hospital.

Droz worked with the WWE untill a couple of years ago on their website or something.

Vince: YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU'REEE WISHED THE BEST OF LUCK IN FUTURE ENDEAVOURS!

Shadow 11-17-2008 03:12 AM

Wonder what Droz is doing nowadays.

Xero 11-17-2008 10:10 AM

Probably not walking...

BigDaddyCool 11-17-2008 10:41 AM

Vince promiced Droz a job for life. Stephanie released him.

Jeritron 11-17-2008 12:09 PM

Maybe they gave him a huge severance paycheck and the option to come to any event he ever wanted to

I wouldn't be suprised if his release was some sort of mutual agreement where he just wouldn't have to work anymore but would be set for life.
At least I"d like to think that. A multibillion dollar corporation cutting off and firing a guy who was paralyzed under their employment would be reprehensible.

Fox 11-17-2008 12:10 PM

STEPH: We're trying to build a strong company, Darren. One that can stand on both legs and keep running, striding heel to toe all the way through the finish line. We can't stay paralyzed in this current state of immobility. With that being said, Darren, surely you will understand that we have to let you go.

BigDaddyCool 11-17-2008 12:48 PM

I bet there was some mutual understanding for the release.

Xero 11-17-2008 03:33 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if Droz gets paid for the rest of his life through WWE and maybe the stuff he did afterward were for extra cash.

Juan 11-17-2008 05:22 PM

When was he released?? I could've sworn that he was still employed by WWE.

Xero 11-17-2008 05:30 PM

At least a year ago. Pretty sure it was during one of the roster clearings.

Gertner 11-17-2008 07:02 PM

His wiki says he's still employed and there's some articles by Droz on WWE as recently as a couple months ago.

Juan 11-17-2008 09:29 PM

Ah

Xero 11-18-2008 12:52 AM

There is an article from SummerSlam 08, though I did find the thread where it was confirmed he was released.

http://www.tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=63562

Just because he writes for the site doesn't necessarily mean he's an employee.

Okay.

He still contributes regularly to their website and magazine, and I imagine he is paid for it. He could be a freelancer, but I doubt it. Either way, he is not completely out of the employ of the WWE. As if he'd write for their website and mag if they'd unceremoniously cut him off in the way that article described.

Whatever I don't even watch wrestling anymore.

The Mackem 11-18-2008 12:46 PM

Yeah I thought he had been released completely as well. Strange one that.

Is that the only face he can make these days?

Funky Fly 11-18-2008 08:28 PM

Pretty sure he can manage a Constipated Jericho every now and then.

NeanderCarl 11-18-2008 08:37 PM

Fair play to the guy,, he still holds out hope of walking again one day.

I assume, of course, on that same token that he doesn't also hold out hope of wrestling again one day.

Although a rematch against D'Lo would be money.
