CM Punk as 2009 King of the Ring Winner is actually a really good one. I was thinking that the other day, but I forgot who could actually win it. Another name I'll throw out for King of the Ring is John Morrison.

Did I miss something, when did The Brian Kendrick and Ziek become THE team on Smackdown? I can see The Brian Kendrick becoming US champ. Maybe have The Brian Kendrick and Eziekel feud with Shelton and some semi talented big white guy as his back up :p

The Brian Kendrick wrestled Carlito on SmackDown!, and defeated him, with JR making sure to note that he and Zeke would make a fantastic tag team.

Oh, and spoilers have revealed Kendrick & Zeke going over The Colons in tag team competition.
