Owen Hart is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be...I don't care what Bret says.

I unfortunately didn't get into wrestling until about a year before Owen's death. I've watched a lot of his older stuff and was very impressed, but it's easy to remember someone as being awesome when you just watch his big-hit matches. So I can't say I'm a big hardcore fan of his or how he stacked up to Bret or HBK or whoever. Still, on a week-to-week basis, late-90s heel Owen made me genuinely want to see him get his comeuppance, which is kinda the whole point. The Rock, on the other hand, just made me change the channel most of the time.

So yeah, I vote Owen for keeping me interested.

Well, Owen edges nothing. He spanks The Dwayne all over the place when it comes to actual wrestling.

I have always thought that The Rock is too much like a cartoon. Same old catchphrases EVERY SINGLE WEEK, his stupid elbow drop, his burns on his opponents. It was all stale within the first 2 years for me. I can't deny that he worked some good headline matches in his time, but he never worked a very good, plain old mid-card wrestling match. He was good with a gimmick match, and with anything that spent alot of time outside of the ring, because thats where his charisma is more important than his wrestling skills. But I find him generally sub-par in the ring when he isn't doing one of his 17 signature moves.

The fact the Owen can talk at all puts him over for me.

I will never forget the time he put over the Hurricane. It was a shocking moment.

True, and Owen dominates on athletism and wrestling ability. Owen is also funnier.

Thus, Owen, being perhaps the greatest single athlete and wrassler of all time, must win.
