anyway, that's good. I love baseball way more than hockey. I'' do up my league again this season as well. However I will be in Africa for some of it so I'll need to do a co-commish and someone watch over my team. Hmmm.

its the league because its the only fantasy league we have where we have had the same 7-8 guys in it since the beginning. Which always makes it more satisfying when I stomp a mudhole in your ass, you old fogey.

holy cow, did that ever take forever to get a time slot. Everything was taken up, I had to set it up for this Saturday. CRAZYYYY

FYI, I'm going to see about switching the draft day since it's so soon, but the Yahoo server was overloaded and getting anything was a bit tough. Now thatI have something, I'll see if I can push it back some...

Hero, if I may start the nagging and complaining early this year, you've got 8 hitting categories to 6 pitching categories. May I suggest eliminating total bases or hits?

Yeah I played in your league a few years ago. Last year I tried to cut back on fantasy baseball leagues so I only joined Wadding's since I've done that one for a long time. If there's still an open spot I'm willing to join.

Question to throw at all of ya.

I'm in a 10 team Head to Head league. I got the 10th pick overall. Snake system so a pick follows. From the looks of it Sizemore is going to drop to me and I plan on taking him. It's the second pick that I have no idea where to go.

Do I go with Hamilton? Since OF is deep do I pass on him and go for Tex? 1st base is deep too. Or should I go with someone like Kinsler whos a stud at a slim position?

I guess it depends on your draft strategy, but that early with so many good players still available, I'd probably just take the best player available, especially since you won't get to pick again for awhile. I guess you could go for the best guy at a thin position just to protect yourself from watching a run on second basemen pass you by or something, but I don't know if I'd like Kinsler that much to take him 11th overall. I'd probably try to nab one of the better starting pitchers and hope I can get Utley in the next wraparound.

2B isn't that weak this year. Kinsler, Utley, Pedroia, Phillips, Roberts, Ramirez, Uggla, Figgins, Cano are all solid picks

Shortstop is the weak position this year. Grab Rollins if you can because the dropoff from Hanley-Reyes-Rollins is HUGE

Hardy isn't that bad of a guy to have as your SS, he's just a bit streaky with his HRs. He was actually better than Rollins last year pretty much across the board.

But I'm probably biased because I'm a Brewers fan. :lol:
