It's almost summer concert time

What shows are you looking forward to seeing this summer?

Requiem 03-21-2009 01:38 PM

Might see NIN, Jane's Addiction, and Street Sweeper in a couple months.

D Mac 03-21-2009 02:05 PM

Take a wild guess.

If they're playing that is.

thedamndest 03-21-2009 02:06 PM

Motley Crue will be touring for the 20th (?) anniversary of Dr. Feelgood and playing the album in its entirety. That would be good. Clapton is coming, but I am still on the fence about that because it's pretty expensive and his catalog is so large that I think there would be more songs that I don't know than the songs that I do know. I'm sure it would be good, but I hate being "that guy" in the crowd that just stares while everybody else sings every lyric.

D Mac 03-21-2009 02:48 PM

I'd like to see Three Days Grace again.

Ogen 03-21-2009 02:54 PM

Only got Oasis booked so far

screech 03-21-2009 03:20 PM

I'm seeing Incubus in August. They are my favorite band and this will be the first time I get to see them live.

I'm fucking PUMPED!

Fignuts 03-21-2009 04:11 PM

I live in a tourist town, and we have bothe a winter and summer free concert series. We don't get anyone huge, but we have gotten some good names like CCR, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Los Lonely Boys, and The Wailers(as in "Bob Marley and the")

Goin to see Citizen Cope for free this thursday, but I don't know who is coming this summer.

Juan 03-21-2009 05:22 PM

Warped Tour for sure

The Greater Power 03-21-2009 05:47 PM

Summerfest & Warped Tour. Both are pretty insane, but the Warped Tour lineup looks a bit weak this year.

Fabien Barthez 03-21-2009 06:07 PM

Oasis, glastonbury, Leeds, V, Global gatharing, Gatecrasher (if it happens).

I dunno, who else is playing stadium or outdoor gigs in England this year?

Skippord 03-21-2009 08:15 PM

Probably gonna go to Warped Tour just to please the woman :-\

and to see Innerpartysystem

DaveWadding 03-21-2009 08:20 PM

Might scrounge up some cash for Clapton/Winwood and hopefully The Eagles will announce a date for here soon so I can go to that.

ron the dial 03-21-2009 08:48 PM

lollapalooza

Danny Electric 03-21-2009 09:10 PM

Gigs I'm going to so far in May and June are

Farse
Brand New
Cancer Bats
Everytime I Die and Gallows
Darkest Hour and Bleeding Through

Boomer 03-21-2009 09:12 PM

Going to the NIN|JA tour in May, after seeing NIN near the end of the Lights in the Sky tour back in November. Ticket was 20 bucks for the cheap seats...no brainer.

Downunder 03-21-2009 10:32 PM

Summer is almost over.

ATL. Not a huge fan of Lakewood Amp, but its basically the one place that can hold concerts this size in the area.

Arashi Kage 03-23-2009 06:38 PM

Judas Priest playing the entire British Steel album for its 30th anniversary.
Whitesnake is opening.

July 9th

Good man. They are astonishing live.

Nothing booked so far, but might check out Manchester Orchestra in a month. The Prodigy is coming at the end of May, and I'm definitely hitting that. Probably do Edgefest in June (AFI, Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, K-os), and Lollapalooza in August depending on the lineup.

RGWhat316 03-24-2009 07:11 AM

I've already got tickets for a Black Label Society/Sevendust/Dope show in a week. Hope to go to Music As A Weapon next month. And i'd like to go to CrueFest as well, if I can scrounge up the money.

ron the dial 03-24-2009 02:51 PM

blitz do lollapalooza and this year we will plan ahead and do things right

Blitz 03-24-2009 09:19 PM

Once the lineup is announced we'll see what's up.

T line-up is sick. Mars Volta, Claude Von Stroke and Tiga!

And there there is all famous bands that are on as well!

Fuck, I miss Thursday in the Park really bad too. Steamboat springs free concert series doesn't even compare to the awesomeness of edgefest and T to the P.

Need to move back to Buffalo ASAP

Hornicane 03-26-2009 01:27 AM

Might see Warped, and Dropkick Murphys are playing with the Offspring in June so I for sure want to hit that up.

OssMan 03-30-2009 01:35 PM

Aright at Wolftrap we got

BB King
Video Games Live
Peter Paul & Mary

Blitz 03-30-2009 09:40 PM

All Points West Music Festival has caught my eye. Beastie Boys, Tool, Coldplay, Mstrkrft, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gogol Bordello, Gaslight Anthem, bunch more. Also potential to hang out with Fakerza since it's in Jersey.

Requiem 03-30-2009 09:52 PM

^That is a nice line-up. I wish I had the money to go to music festivals. I would go on a festival binge.
