It's almost summer concert time
What shows are you looking forward to seeing this summer?
|
Might see NIN, Jane's Addiction, and Street Sweeper in a couple months.
|
Take a wild guess.
If they're playing that is. |
Motley Crue will be touring for the 20th (?) anniversary of Dr. Feelgood and playing the album in its entirety. That would be good. Clapton is coming, but I am still on the fence about that because it's pretty expensive and his catalog is so large that I think there would be more songs that I don't know than the songs that I do know. I'm sure it would be good, but I hate being "that guy" in the crowd that just stares while everybody else sings every lyric.
|
I'd like to see Three Days Grace again.
|
Only got Oasis booked so far
|
I'm seeing Incubus in August. They are my favorite band and this will be the first time I get to see them live.
I'm fucking PUMPED! |
I live in a tourist town, and we have bothe a winter and summer free concert series. We don't get anyone huge, but we have gotten some good names like CCR, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Los Lonely Boys, and The Wailers(as in "Bob Marley and the")
Goin to see Citizen Cope for free this thursday, but I don't know who is coming this summer. |
Warped Tour for sure
|
Summerfest & Warped Tour. Both are pretty insane, but the Warped Tour lineup looks a bit weak this year.
|
Oasis, glastonbury, Leeds, V, Global gatharing, Gatecrasher (if it happens).
I dunno, who else is playing stadium or outdoor gigs in England this year? |
Probably gonna go to Warped Tour just to please the woman :-\
and to see Innerpartysystem |
Might scrounge up some cash for Clapton/Winwood and hopefully The Eagles will announce a date for here soon so I can go to that.
|
lollapalooza
|
Gigs I'm going to so far in May and June are
Farse Brand New Cancer Bats Everytime I Die and Gallows Darkest Hour and Bleeding Through |
Going to the NIN|JA tour in May, after seeing NIN near the end of the Lights in the Sky tour back in November. Ticket was 20 bucks for the cheap seats...no brainer.
|
Summer is almost over.

Nothing booked so far, but might check out Manchester Orchestra in a month. The Prodigy is coming at the end of May, and I'm definitely hitting that. Probably do Edgefest in June (AFI, Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, K-os), and Lollapalooza in August depending on the lineup. |
I've already got tickets for a Black Label Society/Sevendust/Dope show in a week. Hope to go to Music As A Weapon next month. And i'd like to go to CrueFest as well, if I can scrounge up the money.
|
blitz do lollapalooza and this year we will plan ahead and do things right
|
Once the lineup is announced we'll see what's up.

T line-up is sick. Mars Volta, Claude Von Stroke and Tiga! And there there is all famous bands that are on as well! |

rock. |
Fuck, I miss Thursday in the Park really bad too. Steamboat springs free concert series doesn't even compare to the awesomeness of edgefest and T to the P.
Need to move back to Buffalo ASAP |
Might see Warped, and Dropkick Murphys are playing with the Offspring in June so I for sure want to hit that up.
|
Aright at Wolftrap we got
BB King Video Games Live Peter Paul & Mary |
All Points West Music Festival has caught my eye. Beastie Boys, Tool, Coldplay, Mstrkrft, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gogol Bordello, Gaslight Anthem, bunch more. Also potential to hang out with Fakerza since it's in Jersey.
|
^That is a nice line-up. I wish I had the money to go to music festivals. I would go on a festival binge.
