I am emphasizing on "WWE". Which are your favorite WWE Wrestlemania moments.
5. Brock and Angle embracing each other after their WWE title match at Wrestlemania XIX. 4. Tear running down Batista's cheek as he walked towards the ring for his World Heavyweight title match at Wrestlemania XXI goes Hollywood. 3. I can't deny the fact that I was drained by emotions when Chris Benoit won his first & only WWE World Heavyweight title at Wrestlemania XX. 2. Eddie Guerrero versus Rey Mysterio was truly epic and one of the finest wrestling matches in recent Mania history. 1. Mohd Hassan: Do you know why I am angry? Eugene: You don't like MIDGETS! and then Hogan coming in and clearing the house. That was truly awesome IMO. :yes: |
Edge spearing Foley through a flaming table at WM 22.
The crowd during Hulk Hogan vs The Rock at WM 18 was the loudest I've ever heard on a WWE show. Jeff Hardy doing a swanton off of a ladder through a table at WM 16. Edge spearing Jeff whilst hanging from the belts at WM 17. Brock Lesnar's shooting star press at WM 19. Vince McMahon getting his head shaved bald at WM 23. Ric Flair's send off after his match at WM 24. Just a few of my markish favourites! |

Damn. Quite a few.
Here's some. I'm avoiding some of the older moments that I now appreciate as greatness, but didnt appreciate or even experience at the actual time. I'm not going to be hokey and say "Hogan slams Andre", because I was a toddler at the time. -Flair last year, although the night after on Raw topped it. -Jericho/HBM. The match, but the aftermath moment. -Stone Cold winning the title, and the Tyson punch. -Brock vs The Crowd in MSG at WM20 -the crowd during Hogan vs Rock. All moment. Match was inconsequential. -Benoit winning the title. I can't deny this was unbelievably thrilling for me at the time. |
Austin winning at WM15 too. It was painfully obvious, but it had been coming for a year. I was young, it was the most into a storyline/show I've ever been, and I ate it up.
Loved every minute of the build, and the way it all panned out that night exceeded my expectations. At the time, Rock kicking out of the stunner was mindblowing. Actually, given how I felt at the time, that may be my favorite. |

I agree mostly with James Steele, apart from the Michaels vs Cena main event at WM 23. I found it quite poor, their hour long match on Raw a few weeks later was a classic and that should have been the Mania main event.

Wrestlemania X8 - When The Rock was booed out of the building, and Hulk Hogan was so loudly cheered. I was so excited when Hulk Hogan came home to the WWF where he belonged. It was something I had been waiting for, for a long, long time. I honestly thought I'd be in the minority of people who was actually happy to see Hulk Hogan was back, and figured Hulk Hogan would get booed everywhere he went. However, I was pleasantly surprised that so many other people from all over the country, and the world appreciated Hulk Hogan and was glad he was back too. It gave me goose bumps.

Piper returning during Hogan vs. McMahon The Rock thanking Stone Cold Steve Austin after their amazing encounter. he didn't get on the mic, he was talking to him while Austin was laying down on the mat. HBK vs. Y2J-the entire program between the two Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle embracing Nathan Jones being left off of the card, well taken out of the official match only to do a run in WMXX Benoit and Guerrero embracing in the ring as the standard bearers of the WWE the triple threat match for the world heavyweight title The Rock and Sock Connection vs. Evolution Trish Stratus's heel turn joining up with Christian John Cena winning his first championship ever in the US title WM21 John Cena winning the WWE title Edge winning the Money In The Bank Kurt Angle vs. HBK Randy Orton's RKO on The Undertaker WM22 John Cena making HHH tap out John Cena's entrance-reminded me of the Godfather RVD winning Money In The Bank Edge vs. Mick Foley-spear through the flaming table Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus- the crowd was behind Mickie almost the whole match. Trish getting booed as a face for the first time in her career I think. I don't recall a time when she was booed as a face before as champ or competing for a title. Mickie rules. WM23 The Undertaker winning his first World title as well as winning his first title in 5 years and putting on an amazing match that not many expected to see. Batista brought his A game. John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels WM24 HBK vs. Flair-my favorite match of 2008/Ric Flair's retirement CM Punk winning Money In The Bank Edge vs. The Undertaker |
