Wrestlemania is known for the pagentry and the spectacle, it truly is the show case for the Immortals... However, sometimes it isn't so great. So I have compiled a list of the 25 worst matches at the biggest PPV's of all time... Enjoy.

Chavo vs. Kane was like 3 seconds. It wasn't like a boring, drawn out match.

It seems it from that list but actually women's matches can be quite good. In fact Trish/Mickie Jame from Wrestlemania 22 is a really good match as well as the Women's matches at 18 & 19. I just so happened that the woman's matches at Wrestlemania were amongst the worst of its history, not a slight against women wrestling.

You're list isn't bad, but IMO Butterbean knocking the shit out of Bart Gunn was pretty awesome.

I agree. That's probably my number one worst match at Mania.

A lot of your matches are far too short to count as real matches. If you're talking length of match vs build up, I'd understand, but most of those short matches had little to no build up anyway, therefore they aren't bad matches or letdowns, just non-entities.

Is this match so bad that it counts as two?

Not a bad list. I do agree though that counting matches like Chavo vs. Kane is a little unfair. It's not like it was boring or anything. It was just incredibly short.

Some matches I would probably put on my list that haven't been mentioned (Too lazy to actually make a top 25 at the moment)...

Jake Roberts vs. Rick Martel (Blindfold Match from WM 7)
Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (WM 11)
Giant Gonzales vs. The Undertaker (WM 9)
The Great Khali vs. Kane (WM 23)
Undertaker vs. Big Bossman (Hell in a Cell from WM 15)
Bam Bam Bigelow and Luna vs. Doink and Dink (WM 10)

only 1 "match" from 9?

LT vs. Bam Bam, Mr. T vs Piper, Haynes vs. Hernandez, the midget match with Bundy vs. hillbilly Jim, Bravo vs. Garvin, Duggan vs Brown, the Roma vs. Brooklyn Brawler match before wrestlemania 6, Big boss man vs. Akeem, Doink vs. Crush, Heavenly Bodys vs. Bushwhackers, the entire wrestlemania 11 card, Piper vs. Goldust, Rocky vs. The Sultan, Mero vs. Goldust, Undertaker vs. Bossman, T&A vs. Head Cheese, Maven vs. Goldust, Kiebler & Wilson Vs. The miller Light cat fight girls, Goldberg vs. Lesnar, Boogeyman vs. Booker and Sharmell

Heavenly Bodies vs Bushwhackers? Was that not a dark match? How could you judge a match you've never even seen?

Oh, wait... Bushwhackers... point taken.

Lesna vs. Goldberg has to be on this list..... the match sucked and the crowd knew it.....

The crowd MADE that match....it was awesome being there for this alone :cool:

Chyna against Ivory at X7 stands out. It was truly awful.

Chavo vs Kane was the greatest wrestlemania match ever.....

Lesnar vs Goldberg wasn't bad either, the reaction from the crowd made the match, and that jackhammer to spear was worth it. Only match I can recall with better fans is Dam vs Cena

Boogeyman/BookerT wasn't at WM23 it was at 22

I notice a couple of you have put Taker/Bossman. IMO it wasn't that bad. Sure it wasn't the best HIAC ever. But when I put on my WM15 DVD, its pretty awesome seeing the whole Ministry/Corporation build up to this, as well as the ending. I don't mind the match at all.

Both men have had far worse Mania matches.

Taker/Bossman was boring as hell though the crowd is not even into it when you watch it. HIAC usually means something good but It just wasn't

Khali/Kane should definitely be on that list. I still hate Khali, and the fact that he even beat Kane that night really sucked.

I can name 50 matches from WM history that were worse than HHH/Orton

Technically, it was the standard WWE match, but it deserves an honorary mention for the biggest wasted potential.

Plus it was the main event of Wrestlemania Twenty-freakin-Five!

It was like pulling a hot girl in a dark club, getting her back to yours and then finding out it's your cousin.

That match between Molly and Victoria was actually pretty good. That match definitely does not deserve to be put on that list... let alone as one of the top 5 worst.
