Smackdown needed a big name heel. Hence the somewhat negative respone when Trips was sent back to Raw.

Thanks for the expanded list, but take away Rock and Goldberg and you ahve two GAPING holes in the faces department. And I'm thinking in terms of active wrestlers, so Steve Austin wouldn't really count. In that case you can also remove Kurt Angle from Smackdown!'s list of heels.

When did HBK turn heel? house show? on his day off? when?

Well I heard he ate meat on Friday and thus the heel turn.

The Orton/Foley feud will be dead then. :(

With this Benoit feud he's basically turning heel.

He said that and I know I wanted to boo him.

He'll be a heel in Edmonton because of his sins against Bret, but I dont know forsure that he'll be a heel after the PPV. If anything, I think the tour in Canada will hurt Benoit as a babyface in the rest of the country, and make HBK a bigger face, unless they do something like put hBK in Evolution.

I agree that HBK will be a heel in Edmonton, but I don't see Benoit getting heel heat just because of a tour in Canada. HBK has been a face for more than 2 years now, and it's damn time that he turned heel.

hmm HBK gets booed out of the building everytime he comes to Canada bvecause of Survivor Series 97. Benoit will be the face even though his hometown is now Atlanta :wtf:

It's not his hometown. They announce him as "residing" in Atlanta, which means he just lives there. I'm sure for Backlash, he'll be Canadian again.
