THE MIZ

The Miz - 1
John Cena -0

Xero 04-27-2009 10:32 PM

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?

Seriously, I like Miz now. I've always hated Poochie.

Krimzon7 04-27-2009 10:44 PM

The miz will show you, YOU'LL SEE!

Xero 04-27-2009 10:45 PM

I already saw. I'm scared. :(

Krimzon7 04-27-2009 10:48 PM

Don't be, he's a chick magnet. Phanto's are totally safe!

IC Champion 04-27-2009 10:49 PM

I liked what I saw, and I used to hate Miz.

Dorkchop 04-27-2009 10:50 PM

He's a lot better now than he was when he debuted.

Kane Knight 04-27-2009 11:25 PM

But he's a heel. You can tell by his hair.

Krimzon7 04-27-2009 11:30 PM

Good Point KK

Kane Knight 04-27-2009 11:48 PM

Meh. He's still Poochy. He really hasn't changed except he's got a gay cowboy hat.

Funky Fly 04-27-2009 11:55 PM

He's changed. He's not godawful in the ring anymore. And he can cut a promo without tripping all over himself.

Not really. Promo was slow, boring and the whole idea is pretty shitty. When John Cena came out to fuck with Show, Miz was an afterthought.

I disagree

The Optimist 04-28-2009 12:35 AM

Indeed.

interforce 04-28-2009 02:15 AM

I disagree as well.

TBH i think this will work well in his angle. Next week i can see him calling him out again only for this time for Cena to show up. They have a match and big show causes the loss meaning the Miz is 2-0 against Cena.

This adds more fuel to the fire for the Cena, Show fued and also keeps Miz bragging saying he beat Cena twice and the others in the locker room best watch out.

Brilliant

Indifferent Clox 04-28-2009 02:36 AM

I like Miz speaking up and saying that he doesn't like how so few people main event that was cool. I started ast forwarding at first but then he kept talking so i was like ok wtf why ae they giving miz so much time? and then i rewound.

that is what happened.

TY

Its simple but will never happen as its wwe :'(

Dave Youell 04-28-2009 07:51 AM

This is basically Jericho/Goldberg all over again, with the undercard guy getting a rub without actually being in a direct feud, it's great

This is exactly where I saw this going when I read the RAW report, but my guess is the WWE just completely forgets about it and stops building real momentum for the guy.

Follow that up with perhaps a tag team match -- with John Cena teaming up with some face (perhaps MVP, who I believe is going to enter a feud with The Miz soon) against Big Show and Miz. Show hits Cena with a Knockout Punch or a Chokeslam, and The Miz gets the pin, going up 3-0 against Cena.

Quite honestly, given how much he has improved, I think The Miz has it in him to be a Roddy Piper-esque heel. He should probably never win the big one, but I can't see why a really solid mid-card run, and him being a top foil for a face character like John Cena can't happen. People have been mentioning on here that too many guys win the World Title, and it's becoming harder and harder to find credible talent that don't end up winning the big one. I think The Miz could fit that role.

AJHayes 04-28-2009 09:11 AM

My wife called it when Miz first hit the scene. She's really close to being able to say I told you so. Curses.

Over the past few months this has been my view of the Miz. I have been very open to the thought of Miz winning the ECW title while on ECW, but now having him on Raw, he could be a very good midcarder and I hoppe he gets a US Title run. He had a great promo on Raw and improved in the ring and just keeps getting better.

AND HIS MUSIC IS THE SHIT.

GD 04-28-2009 11:57 AM

OMG! Cena lost.

This was another moment on Raw that I thought went over really well.

Needed a Cena clone though.

Dorkchop 04-28-2009 02:07 PM

Miz should have came out shortly after Cena did and attacked him with a chair to the back or something.

Next week Miz can cut another promo on Cena, but this time Cena can come out and say he didn't show up last leek because Miz isn't worth his time... and that he only came out this week because he doesn't have a match booked.

thedamndest 04-28-2009 02:27 PM

I am so glad there was no Cena midget in that segment.

Jeritron 04-28-2009 02:30 PM

He could conceivably call out HHH next week, and perhaps even Shawn Michaels the week after.
As the incapacitated wrestlers he challenges to continue to "no show", he can continue to boast.

Jeritron 04-28-2009 02:32 PM

Actually, it'd be nice if he did it a few times and then when he challenged Shawn Michaels he actually showed up.
That'd be a nice program for both of them.

I don't know that it will happen though, since I have a sneaking suspicion that Shawn is going to stay on the shelf for a bit and return with HHH to take on Legacy.

TBH, I freaked the fuck out when I saw 100s of Cena's coming out at Mania.

Juan 04-28-2009 06:55 PM

Point taken Kane Knight

Mooияakeя™ 04-28-2009 06:59 PM

What does this do for the [spoiler / spoiler] Cena wins people?

Christ. It's like two people sharing the same time space continuum. Well, it's nothing like that, but I thought I'd go hyperbole on your asses.

Afterlife! Surely you're able to appreciate the improvement that Miz has made. He doesn't have to be your favorite entertainer, but he is better than he was.
