Sorry sir, rather this was A&A.

I'm one of the few AVA supporters I know, and yet I still think you're a retard for saying that.

I'm prolly getting tickets to the Cleveland show on September 2nd as well.

As well as the Toronto show on August 23rd, possibly.

I'm pissed at the supporting cast for the Detroit show. Cleveland should be awesome though. Weezer and TBS. Sweet.

Blitz 05-27-2009 01:34 AM

Hm the Cleaveland show would most def be sexier.

Hornicane 05-27-2009 05:16 AM

I'm planning on hitting up the Detroit show. :y:

road doggy dogg 05-27-2009 12:36 PM

Presale for a bunch of dates started today. I was gonna get tickets for the Cleveland date, but they were like $70. What the hell. The band said all the shows this tour are gonna be $20. Ticketmaster fail. So I'll probably just end up only going to one show this summer. :( h8 being a broke college student

Blink better tour the UK once their new shit is out (whenever that is)

GreySunshine 05-28-2009 03:05 PM

I'm going to this.

I may have different reasoning for it than Blink though. :shifty:

They haven't announced any dates other than their summer North American tour, but I reckon after the summer they'll have some international dates posted...

Not at all. For Fall Out Boy.

St. Jimmy 05-28-2009 11:53 PM

FOB/Panic! make these shows almost tolerable.

road doggy dogg 05-29-2009 03:23 AM

Last two posts just made me die a little inside.

road doggy dogg 05-29-2009 03:23 AM

And by a little I mean a lot.

Hornicane 05-29-2009 03:32 AM

FOB put on a pretty good show. Got to see them for free in '07 with +44, and wouldn't have a problem with paying to see them again.

road doggy dogg 05-29-2009 03:33 AM

It's not so much my feelings about FOB, but saying that FOB is the reason a blink show is tolerable... that's blasphemous. Come on. Fall Out Boy? Aside from releasing a catchy single with a terrible song name every few months, what have they ever even done musically?

Hornicane 05-29-2009 03:36 AM

Oh, for sure I'm more excited about seeing Blink, as I've seen all the members in separate projects previously but not the 'real deal', as it were. But I've no beef with FOB at all and would probably still at least think about seeing this show sans Blink.

road doggy dogg 05-29-2009 03:39 AM

I've heard FOB put on a decent show, and I'm not opposed to seeing a band that I don't normally listen to, if I know they'll put on a good set. ie my sister went through a phase where she was in love with Kid Rock, so naturally I was dragged along to a show now and then. I don't dislike his music necessarily, but yeah not my normal "cup o' tea". He puts on a pretty good show, though, and I'd definitely see him again if the price was right.

It is just bad news to want to see a band like Panic! at the Disco over blink, though. I don't like to "talk down" bands and such 'cause I think music is subject and yadda yadda yadda, but blink is just worlds better. <3

Hornicane 05-29-2009 03:46 AM

Also, has anyone found our if the $20 tickets are legit? I can't find pricing for the Detroit date anywhere. I'm assuming they're not on sale yet, but it would be good information to have.

road doggy dogg 05-29-2009 03:51 AM

Nah I found out about that. SUPPOSEDLY their "manager" or someone made that statement. It's not that all seats are $20, he just said that they are offering "$20 seats", which in reality means that, say, lawn seats at DTE will be $20. Kind of backhanded way of saying things, because it is the type of thing that can (and did) get easily taken out of context.

I was originally planning on getting tickets to the Cleveland, Detroit, and Toronto shows if this was the case. When the Cleveland tickets went on presale (on Wednesday) they were like $70 for the good seats, kind of dashing my dreams.

My current plan right now is to get tickets to the Toronto date. A few friends have already told me they're interested, and it'd make a fun road trip. I'm on the fence as to whether I wanna drive to TO on Saturday and stay the night then go to the show Sunday, or still get tickets to the Detroit show. I love blink but the poor college student in me can't really justify spending like $200 on two concerts this summer.

Hornicane 05-29-2009 03:59 AM

Figured it would be something like that. People I'm going with are also wicked broke college kids so we're gonna end up on the lawn. But it's still a pretty good deal for $20.

GreySunshine 05-29-2009 08:09 AM

I would actually prefer if P!ATD was not on the bill. The thought of having to suffer though a non-processed Brendan makes me want to vomit a little.

FOB live was amazing and I hope I have another chance to bash down little 12 year old girls to get to the front and see Pete again.

Blink used to be one of my favorite bands.

road doggy dogg 06-03-2009 11:10 AM

Just bought 4 tickets to the Toronto date. Hate Ticketmaster, like $15 fee per ticket. But Livenation directs you to TM when trying to buy the tickets... :wtf: Lame.

Anyway I just spent like $400. I don't care. Go Blink.
