Randy Orton Vs John Cena match for 3rd PPV in a row!
Creativity has just been set back 20 years.
YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! |
I love how arbitrary their Hell in a Cell match is. If I actually watched and cared about RAW, I would be pissed.
|
I bet we get Team Orton vs Team Cena at Survivor Series
Orton/Legacy/Big Show/Jericho vs Cena/DX/Henry/MVP Combine all the repetitive fueds into one monster 5 on 5 Classic Survivor Series Match! |
I think they should have put John Cena and DX together to face Legacy, and just streamline their HIAC matches.

2007: John Cena versus Randy Orton
A lot of Random Tag matches Summerslam Unforgiven No Mercy (at least it was scheduled) not to mention the number of matches they had in 2008. |
i wouldn't have a problem with the feud if the wrestlers weren't so dull and irritating. I bet they even do a TLC match for these two after SS. Infact, i'm starting to think these ppvs were changed just so they could keep the cena/orton feud 'fresh'(for lack of a better word).
|
The Orton-Jeff Hardy rivalry was the shit!
|
Here's what I want: Orton/Henry (title) and Cena/Swagger.
MIX THIS SHIT UP, WWE! |
DX and Legacy for the 3rd PPV in a row as well. Pisses me off cause DX are prolly gonna get their win back and that'll be it.
|
I dunno. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are obviously pretty high on Legacy, having put them over at Breaking Point. Plus, the WWE is hurting for new talent. I think that we could see some shenanigans which allow Legacy to take another win at Hell in a Cell (with Cena retaining the WWE Title in the other RAW main event, to "keep the fans happy").
At least, I hope that is what happens. I'm also sensing that this feud might spark the tension between Triple H and Shawn Michaels that could lead to a potential match between the two at WrestleMania 26. I do wish the WWE would just put the WWE Title on Shawn Michaels, though. It would be fresh, exciting, and it's not like HBK needs a credibility boost or anything to hold the WWE Title. I am really craving a Shawn Michaels vs. MVP match over the title. |
how boring was that i quit match?, both wrestlers were getting booed, cena more than orton, so nobody really cared about the match, way to go raw creative.
|
I think Cena vs. Orton will be the first Hell in a Cell that doesn't feature either Triple H or The Undertaker.
|
i think the only Hell in a Cell I know of that doesn't feature Undertaker or Triple H was on Raw in 1998 with Mankind vs. Kane. other than that was the cell being lowered halfway through the Austin/Kane match at KOTR 98

no those are the only ones

I really like Orton, but I'm so bored of him facing HHH, Cena, or Batista. He needs new opponents to feud with.

He got a good reaction coming out. I know this.

Some other HIAC trivia: * Taking the WWE's stigma that being "defeated" is taking a pinfall or submission loss -- Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kane are both undefeated in Hell in a Cell matches. * One of the biggest stars of all-time in Stone Cold Steve Austin was only in two Hell in a Cell matches, and none of them were one-on-one. The Rock only appeared in one, and that was also a multi-man match. * Heels seemed to generally win Hell in a Cell matches early on in the match's existence -- but now it seems almost exclusively that faces win. * Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar and Batista are all undefeated in Hell in a Cell, although Batista is the only one of them who has appeared in more than one. Batista has also both pinned Triple H and The Undertaker in the structure, who are the most frequent Hell in a Cell competitors. * If The Undertaker does face CM Punk in Hell in a Cell at the PPV, then it will be his tenth HIAC. This will be Triple H's seventh. It will also be Shawn Michaels' fourth. * Of the four teams that have participated in Hell in a Cell as a team -- three out of the four have either been previous opponents or gone on to be opponents in HIAC. * A submission has never ended a Hell in a Cell match. |

MVP and Mark henry DX |
Disagree.
|
Remember years back when people here were all clamoring for a big Cena/Orton feud and acted like it was going to be the biggest match WWE has done in a long time?
|
Didn't they waste the first one on Raw or something?
|
I know this is off topic, but I'll mention it....since DX was brought up.
This will never happen, but I'd love it if at some point, Triple H and Shawn Michaels lost the rights to DX......to Rhodes and Dibiase. Shortly afterwards, Rhodes and Dibiase distance themselves from Orton. The Miz and John Morrison join Rhodes and Dibiase to form a new Degeneration X. New DX: -The Miz -John Morrison -Rhodes -Dibiase A younger and newer DX that is actually edgy.....like the OLD DX. Eventually - Triple H and Shawn Michaels call up Hall and Nash.....for a one night....and one night only.....match between the New DX and The Kliq. Stupid idea? Most likely. It would be interesting for me atleast. |
i love that idea . but my opioion means shit around here
|
My only problem with that is that Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase don't really seem to fit the DX image -- and they seem to be crafting their own legacies right now. The Miz, however, is someone that I can see wanting to take the DX name for himself. If The Brian Kendrick were still around, he'd be a good fit for it, too.
Besides The Miz, I'd probably include a freshly moved Zack Ryder. His personality seems like it could be a good fit for a heel DX. Chris Masters and Carlito could also fit the stable pretty nicely. But yeah, The Miz and Zack Ryder would be my choices for a driving force behind them -- with Maryse likely being in, hanging off The Miz. |
Great points.
I think your idea with Ryder and Maryse is better. |
Is TV-PG really necessary?: I don't like Cena...
Hey guys,
I remember back in the day (Attitude Era), I would be glued to my television every Monday night for Raw. Born in 1985, I was around 12/13/14 when Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, and Mankind were involved in some seriously fucked up shit I remember The Undertaker crucifying Stone Cold, The Undertaker "hanging" The Big Bossman, Val Venis almost getting his cock chopped off, Mick Foley Flying off the fucking cage, and Mark Henry fucking most of the female roster. Hell, when I watched D-X back then, they were throwing people off the stage in dumpsters, invading WCW, and visiting strip clubs. What are they doing now? Going to the evangelical brainwashing center with Sting and performing 'relations' with the boss' daughter... Why does the WWE feel the need to shelter this generation of fans from angles which are truly entertaining? I looked up to Stone Cold Steve Austin because he didn't give a god damn about what anybody thought of him (he even held a fucking gun to Vince McMahon's head). John Cena promotes "hustle, loyalty and respect." What the hell is that? When i watched wrestling in middle school it was an attempt to get away from all of the crap they taught me, not to reinforce it. These kids watching the product do not need something that reinforces what they are taught in school. Give them something that makes them stand out as the kid who "saw a guy get his head grinded against a steel cage like a piece of cheese, and then came out the next night to smack everyone with a fucking steel chair." This safety shit is fucking boring the hell out of me... |
Did you ever think that the reason you don't enjoy it as much anymore is because you grew up? You became more cynical, you picked it apart more?
|
I really have thought about that, but it really isn't the same as it was back then.
The "characters" had much more depth, involved storylines, and grudges to settle. I do not understand why they can't come up with some more angles like they used to have. They aren't doing anything else with their air time... Austin drank beer and fucked shit up every week on Raw. He violently attacked a babyface like Bret Hart in the beginning of his push because the "WW-whatever" really wanted to put him over. What the fuck are they doing for Cena that makes him differential from every other guy in the company? he takes more steroids to get that amazing physique? |
