GoldenEye was a stupid game for jerks

OOooh a source of animosity for Supreme Olajuwon perhaps

Never owned it so the only time I would play it was with kids who played it 937 hours a day so I'd always get dominated and it was never fun.

Both excellent, but overall I think I may have got more overall enjoyment out of Goldeneye.

No Mercy. Had so much fun playing that.

I loved GoldenEye, but I was never great at it compared to people I played with so it wasn't as much fun.

Supreme, I had a friend like you in middle school. I could say I didn't target him first, but that would be a lie. His was the first screen I looked at when I was looking for someone to kill. Sometimes I would run around in circles and confuse him with a Klobb. Sometimes I would humiliate him by kneeling down and slapping him to death in a corner. I now realize how terrible that must have been for him, and you. Please accept my apology.

Also, Goldeneye is the better game.

Looking at screens inadvertently and blatantly watching them are two different things, though.

If you play the game enough you get to where you don't even do it intentionally. You watch your screen and you're just aware of where everyone else is.

Exactly. That's not the same as simply watching another screen to find someone. The problem I always had was with people who would do that rather than knowing the levels well (though I did make fun of those guys for playing that much).

No Mercy > Goldeneye

Perfect Dark > Goldeneye

Perfect Dark > No Mercy

No Mercy since I ended getting Perfect Dark and then Goldeneye a few years later so my personal gaming impact was felt less than seeing how much No Mercy improved on Wrestlemania 2000. Remember having Ladder Matches and Rumbles with cousins and family that went a good 30 minutes to almost an hour due to the sheer craziness of the match.

Goldeneye basically was a rare case of a movie-to-video game that was good and the movie itself was good. Also set the standard for shooters on consoles that was improved by Perfect Dark.

No Mercy basically improved almost everything on the old AKI engine and past wrestling games. The only big downside was lack of full intros before matches and slowdown with 4 wrestlers but that was mainly because of how "stuffed" the game was with content and choices.

GoldenEye>No Mercy

No questions. Golden Eye had a huge impact on the FPS scene, it brought FPS to the mainstream. Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, Quake and Doom build the base work, but Golden Eye was what pushed it over the top.

No Mercy was just a good wrestling game.

Goldeneye was perfected on.

There has never been a better wrestling game than No Mercy however.

Goldeneye Revolutionized the first-person-shooter. No Mercy was the best wrestling game of the era (maybe of all time.) Though No Mercy did have 3 different other wrestling games in that style before it (World Tour, Revenge and WM2000) Goldeneye revolutionized the franchise on its own.

Goldeneye made me want to buy an n64, No Mercy made me glad that I bought one. Goldeneye wins my vote.

No Mercy and I'm suprised this isn't a squash match thus far.
