Generic Divas Are Generic
 

Watching RAW, something I don't normally do, I saw a wide shot of the Divas battle royal. You know what I saw? Generic Diva in pink. Generic Diva in yellow. Generic Diva's twin in yellow. Generic Diva in blue. Generic Diva in purple. Et cetera.

I don't know if it was just the very similar, shiny outfits they were wearing or what, but Divas have become very... generic and cookie-cutter lately. They're all the same. They all have the same, generic, glossy-eyed expression and the same, generic, empty-headed personality.

I mean, fucking christ, I didn't even KNOW Alicia Fox (Generic Diva in black) was even IN the fucking match until her hand was raised and I came out of my coma.

There may be some exceptions to this, but lately that's what I've been noticing. Just... bleh. I miss the days of Divas with some sort of personality that made it interesting to watch them. Diva wrestling has been watered down to the point where even *I* (who used to always find the merit in watching women wrestling) can't even be bothered to watch it anymore. :(

Been that way for years. There are one or two divas that standout, mainly for their wrestling ability, and the rest are interchangable.

Can't help to agree that they seemed to be more packaged alike but i'd say the Divas are more diverse than they've ever been which would explain why I root for more of them than I used too.

I just love the fact that when Diva's have a battle royal, they can be eliminated by getting tossed over or thru the ropes, yet the guys have to go over the ropes. It makes me laugh.

That'd basically be every WWE Diva except Mickie and Beth Phoenix then, and even then, Mickie James has more or less been there done that.

And I know a battle royal isn't a great match type for divas, but I was talking about the state of WWE women's wrestling in general, just using the battle royal as an example of how similar and boring they've become.
