Random notes and Observations

Raw has gone from bad to worse. Whatever happened to Melina? A month back I see her in an awesome match on Smackdown! and now she wrestles in one of the most horrible mixed tag team matches of all time. I think it is the length of the match that plays a major factor.

Cody and Ted need to stop kissing Orton's arse. No Seriously. I liked the older Cody Rhodes who would stand up against Orton if he had to.

DX is getting lame. And that segment where they send that green draft to the ring when Hornswoggle was dressed up as Shawn and doing the DX chops was disgusting.

Smackdown is pretty solid! Batista turning heel was a really smart move. I can see him in a future rematch against John Cena. Maybe at Wrestlemania.

Whether it's Raw or Smackdown! Rey Mysterio has dominated over a year now and his two Intercontinental title reigns were Epic. As we discussed in an another thread, the time is right for Mysterio to jump into the next level.

Haven't seen much of Drew McIntyre but I like his finisher. R-Truth is stepping up and that's a positive in my opinion. I love to watch Dolph wrestle.

So after 10 years, Jericho and Taker cross paths. I wish they would saved this one for Wrestlemania.

Looking forward to a Matt Hardy push after he recovers from his internal injuries.

The current ECW Champion Christian Cage amazes me. That guy is working his ass off and is one of the most underrated/unappreciated guy both in the company as well as the IWC. It's high time he left ECW and moved over to Smackdown! and not Raw.

I am really looking forward to see Helms in an ECW title match. Doesn't matter if he wins or loses. That guy has got immense talent and it needs to happen on a freakin' pay per view.

Last but not the least, The Gold Standard has always been a favourite and I really hope he captures the ECW gold or go on to win his first MITB Ladder match. Which seems unlikely to happen and for some reason it seems okay.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Billy Madison kicks ass.

@Juan Those are my opinions dumdbass. At least I see the shit and then talk about it.

Splaya 11-05-2009 04:24 PM

Splaya believes that even though Jericho and undertaker will wrestle at Survivor Series, the true mystique of it can still be saved till Mania

GD 11-05-2009 04:24 PM

I agree with Splaya.

Splaya 11-05-2009 04:27 PM

Splaya believes that because Big Show is in the match, Taker will retain and this will lead to the end of Jerishow

The Jayman 11-05-2009 04:31 PM

The Jayman agrees with Splaya

Half of the original post could've been said in 2002 and still made sense.

That William Regal looks to be a great talent. Hope to see more of him soon.

Agreed - and I have no idea what happened Melina (other than the fact that I want to give her oral). RAW's biggest problem is that their main-event scene is VERY stale. The WWE has flat out refused to turn Cena heel (due to their insistence of targeting and catering to the under 12 demographic)

Legacy will be breaking up shortly. I just hope that it's Orton the one that turns face. I don't think Dibiase is ready at this point. After his program would finish with a heel Orton, I believe that Dibiase would become bland.

I actually didn't mind the DX skit with Cena and Hornswoggle.

I really hope that we see Cena vs. The Rock this year (i.e. some kind of confrontation comes out of January 4th when The Rock hosts RAW). If we don't see Cena/Rock, then I'm pretty sure we'll see Cena/Batista.

I personally am not a fan of Rey Mysterio being a world champ on RAW or Smackdown. I wouldn't mind seeing him, and other cruiserweights, be moved to ECW. Mysterio could become champ on ECW and have awesome matches with the likes of Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, etc.

I thought Big Show was going to face Taker? I hope that somehow, we see Jericho/Taker at Mania.

The WWE haven't pushed Matt Hardy properly (or logically) since 2003 when Mattitude was first created. Why would things be any different now? The WWE have fucked over Matt Hardy countless times, because they are fucking stupid.

Again - the WWE are too fucking stupid to realize that Christian is one of the most over faces in the WWE......and that he would be a much welcome addition to RAW or Smackdown.

Leave it to the WWE to fuck someone over.

Another absolute waste by the WWE.

Well he got a push of a lifetime last year. He went on to win the United-States title and the ECW title in quick successions. He even beat his brother at Wrestlemania. If it wasn't for his injuries he would have come closer to the main event scenario.

WWE Didn't screw Matt, Matt screwed Matt by being an injury prone fatty. :p

Also don't think WWE has screwed over Christian, Matt, or Shelton. All guys are on tv weekly, and Christian is ECW champion what the f?

Juan 11-06-2009 02:04 AM

For Heyman, if a guy isn't featured on Raw then he is a failure.

I truly believe Christian deserves better. And by better I mean Smackdown!

I watched maybe half of Raw and it seemed awful. at times. Funnily enough I thought the wrestling was ok and the entertainment side of it was what was letting it down.

I don't get this guest GM thing but it was terrible this week. The start was the worst, the bit later where they made it a six man tag not quite so bad. It started off ok having some of the lesser talents come out but what's the point when you have Triple H come out and call them 'ratings killers'.

There didn't seem to be much crowd reaction for the announced matches

Miz/Bourne was good

Knoble/Sheamus - no crowd reaction. Don't know if they don't care about Sheamus or don't care about Knoble being destroyed. Maybe they didn't like to hear a grown man sound like he was crying while he was being squashed. The big shame was that I thought the commentators sold this match well but did anybody really care? Knoble got took out on a stretcher which didn't seem so PG-13 to me but whatever.

There was a Rey/Batista recap or something after which looked like a good feud.

Kofi/Orton looked good, not too bothered that it was made a six man tag because that sort of 'random' stuff is cool every now and then. But half way throught this match I stopped watching and that was that. The main event sounded like it would be ok.

No, I do not think like that.

I do however, think that if someone is NOT on RAW, then there's no way that the WWE will ever 'market' that guy as being the #1 guy in the company (unless they are a long time veteran like Undertaker).

Again - there's a reason why the RAW World Heavyweight belt is usually the LAST match at Wrestlemania. The only time Smackdown has the last match at Mania, is when Taker is involved in the main-event.

The one and *only* time that RAW and Smackdown were on par (according to the WWE and how they booked things), was in 2003 when Angle and Lesnar main-evented...and again, the only reason why that happened, was because Lesnar had become positioned as the #1 guy in the company....since he had done numerous things which involved a CLEAN PINFALL VICTORY over The Rock.

Mr. Nerfect 11-07-2009 06:59 AM

SmackDown! is technically the A-show after Bragging Rights. :shifty:

I am really looking forward to see what Christian does after he leaves ECW. I think that time will be coming soon. I'm still sort of hoping for JeriShow vs. Edge & Christian at Mania 26.

He wrestled for like a year with his internal injury until he had to stop because his insides basically exploded. He may be injury prone, but he's still got balls, and was still putting on decent matches even through that stomach injury.
