Even though the Two Man Power Trip were two singles guys and not an establish team... they were an AWESOME team. Should have lasted longer than they did.

Nicky Fives 12-10-2009 08:59 PM

The Trip..... they were a teamed that was just thrown together, but they worked extremely well..... could have lasted a while if HHH hadn't have torn his quad..... and would lead to another feud between the two once their team ran its course

The Jayman 12-11-2009 08:13 AM

Have to go with the power trip. They were 2 single guys thrown together but they were the 2 top single guys at the time. Also they worked quite well together

Joesgonnakillyou 12-11-2009 09:02 AM

I never liked two man power trip. The only thing that they did I liked was bringing Benoit and Jericho to the main event. It's not gonna be a popular opinion. So while i'm here i'll get a few out of the way. I hated evolution and I'd rather see Cena as Champ than HHH

XCaliber 12-11-2009 10:11 AM

The Power Trip is probably one of the best thrown together tag teams ever but they're no Rated RKO but there still good enough to beat the Bristish Bulldogs as far as I'm concerned.

Reading that sentence took two years off my life.

Not until one of you understands the difference between "there" and "they're." And in any case it should be "they were."

James Diesel 12-11-2009 10:39 AM

I was just fixing the order.
There
Their
They're
those aren't my issue unless I'm quoting myself lol

DaveBrawl 12-11-2009 10:40 AM

Both end in re though so theoretically shouldn't they're still work? :shifty:

Anyway I voted Bulldogs.

Rammsteinmad 12-11-2009 01:55 PM

Power Trip, pretty much for the same reasons already stated in this thread.

Tazz Dan 12-11-2009 05:33 PM

Maybe it's just me, but I'm failing to see how a team that was together for like 2 minutes is better than one of the most iconic teams of the 80's. :-/

Honestly I could think of at least 5 more iconic tag teams and me thinks you have the Power Trip confused with the Unholy Alliance somehow.

It's not just you.

Stealth-Icon 12-11-2009 10:37 PM

I liked Trips and the Rattlesnake as a team and they were great together, but for how long were they together? 3, 4 months? Bulldogs take this one.

I dunno, 450. I'd like more than 18 replies before you declare this thread as done.

Hornicane 12-12-2009 01:22 AM

I'm also with Dan on this one.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2009 02:09 AM

Of all the Triple H injuries in history, the one that derailed the Two Man Power Trip is by far the most significant. There's no telling how drastically different the wrestling world would be if HHH was around for the invasion. That being said, you're not going to get me to vote for what could have been over what was. Bulldogs 4 HOF

Nah, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about son.

Crazy Nick 12-13-2009 04:57 AM

Even though the Two Man Power trip were an amazing team, while they lasted, had Triple H not got injured there is no telling how great of a team they would have been. The British Bulldogs get my vote because they were an established team that were great and lasted for a great while, and were one of the best teams in tag team wrestling.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-13-2009 08:21 AM

This is absurd. The Power Trip was together for a grand total of 48 days. I don't care if they had 5 star matches, they don't deserve to win this.

Seriously, the Bulldogs took down Natural Disasters and Money Inc, but are losing to HHH & Austin. :wtf:

Let us prevent a great injustice and send the Bulldogs to the HOF!! :y:

Zen v.W.o. 12-13-2009 04:36 PM

The only time Austin should advance in a tag team tourney is when paired with Brian Pillman. Austin had to team up though with that sad sack of shit, so obviously the Bulldogs take this round.

HBPunk 12-13-2009 05:53 PM

who watched wrestling when the bulldogs were in their prime? unless you did how can you vote for them? watching old tapes is a bullshit answer, im in my mid 20s, ive no interest in watching wrestling pre 1995 cos its shite so i barely saw them. The power trip wins

Seth82 12-13-2009 06:20 PM

Bulldogs....hands down one of the best teams of the 80's

so I'm sticking with them

Tazz Dan 12-13-2009 09:54 PM

Glad to see common sense provailed here. :y:

Indifferent Clox 12-13-2009 11:04 PM

THANK GOD! I was so pissed that the power trip were beating one of the best tag teams ever.

Indifferent Clox 12-13-2009 11:04 PM

DX v. the bulldogs though would have been an either or for me

Indifferent Clox 12-13-2009 11:05 PM

WAIT, dx has never been in a better tag team poll? wtf?
