Savio 12-19-2009 11:24 PM

She is rapping on the song.

if "hip hop" can make it through limp bizkit, i'm sure it'll survive kesha :y:

ct2k 12-20-2009 10:43 AM

Anyway, why do people get their knickers in a twist everytime someone like 'Soldier Boi' or Kesha comes along like people haven't been bastardising rap for the masses ever since it became commercially viable?

Rapping over a beat doesn't mean hip-hop, but it's fairly close. Still, this doesn't kill hip-hop unless it's the extend of hip-hop you listen to (hoping not).

Hip-hop is killing hip-hop, IMO.

Anybody Thrilla 12-20-2009 12:41 PM

Fuck this song. Stop paying attention to it. What's killing 'hip-hop' is the fact that fucking idiot people keep buying terrible music.

ct2k 12-20-2009 12:43 PM

AT you're killing hip hop by perpetuating the notion that it is in fact dying:foc:

Anybody Thrilla 12-20-2009 01:33 PM

You're killing hip hop by being British. :foc:

ct2k 12-20-2009 01:48 PM

brb gonna go mad diss AT in the studio

Sixx 12-21-2009 06:53 AM

Them negroes be killin' hip-hop.

Sixx 12-21-2009 06:53 AM

Ok, that made no sense. No sense at all.

Savio 12-21-2009 02:04 PM

I feel bad for aspiring hip-hop artists who hear this song, they must be tight as fuck thinkin "I've been rapping for 2 years and can't get signed but this chick gets a CD deal and radio play?"

Clox is right. It's bigger than hip hop.

Hip hop.

Hip hop.

Hip.

I don't think the amount of years matter.

Gonzo 12-22-2009 08:10 PM

That beat sounds like it's taken from a NES game.

Cool King 12-22-2009 09:11 PM

Yeah, the majority of artists are going that way now.

Synthpop/Electropop type of music seems to be all the rage these days, there is really no avoiding it when you're on a night out for example.

Some artists just experiment with it at first and it becomes popular, so they just grab on to the success the song had and they also jump on to the Synthpop/Electropop bandwagon and do all their future songs that way.

Guys like Kanye West, The Black Eyed Peas, Dizzee Rascal, Lady Gaga and so on, are all crammed on to that bandwagon.

RP 12-24-2009 05:35 AM

Rascal Flats?

Kris P Lettus 12-24-2009 07:35 PM

That is "Hip Hop" like Avril Lavigne or Ashely Simpson is "Punk"..

DrA 12-24-2009 11:43 PM

Her teeth must be flying out the window if she is brushing them with a bottle of Jack.

DrA 12-24-2009 11:48 PM

Also I don't know if it's healthy that a woman in her early twenties is waking up in the morning feeling like a 40 year old black man.

PorkSoda 12-25-2009 12:08 AM

Who likes hip hop? It sucks. Let it die.
