The recent surge of fighting games gave us some true gems, now it's time to vote the best of the bunch. Final Round... FIGHT!

Soul Caliber 4 was well balanced

or how ever the fuck you spell it

Went with SFIV.

I haven't played any of these games enough, but I just realised how many of them I want to play. Specifically Virtua Fighter 5 and BlazBlue.

Street Fighter IV by far, for me. It's not the kind of game that only certain people can play. You can have a fair fight with other people no matter how big the gap in skill is with your opponent.
It doesn't demand a huge amount of practice to enjoy but if you put in the time, you can get some really good matches online. The game isn't too slow or too fast and the graphics are really pleasing.
I don't care too much for realitic graphics in fighting games. Paul Pheonixs' hair style look ridiculous with the graphic style of Tekken but Guiles is acceptable because SFIV has a cartoon-like style.

Blaz fucking Blue baby!!

I have been a SoulCalibur fan ever since SoulCalibur 2. I finally tried the first version of it. The third installment was all kinds of goods. Then the 4th one finally came out and it was... it was good.

SFIV is real fun too but I can't go against SoulCalibur.

I doubt anybody besides you, KalyX TriaD, has played all of these games enough to truly determine which one is the best amongst them all.
