How many people have kicked out of the pedigree?

I remember it being a big deal in 2002 that "no one has ever kicked out of it" even though some people have, but not many people do (unlike the angle slam)

I can only name:
  • Warrior
  • Lesnar
  • Batista
Anyone else? did HBK ever kick out of it?

The Franchise 01-26-2010 06:15 PM

Rock must have? Also Taker had to have at WM X-7?

The Franchise 01-26-2010 06:18 PM

Austin at NWO 01

Also I think HBK did in their cell match

Nicky Fives 01-26-2010 06:27 PM

I'm positive that Rock & Austin have...... Hogan must have in their PPV match back in 2002...... same goes for Kane during their feud in later half of 2002..... HBK must have as well duting late 2002, early 2003......

addy2hotty 01-26-2010 08:42 PM

Foley did. Pretty it took three to beat him when he faced Trips in his first 'for your career match' HITC.

NoRoolz 01-26-2010 08:51 PM

Pretty sure Foley did at the Rumble same year too.

Think Trips pedigreed him, Foley kicked out, Trips looks at Steph like ':O' and then pedigreed him on the tacks ftw?

I can't have imagined that up?

Zeeboe 01-26-2010 09:12 PM

I think Hogan may have at Backlash 02'.....I think.

Xero 01-26-2010 09:37 PM

Warrior didn't "kick out" of it, he just no-sold it.

I would assume anyone who has feuded with HHH in a big program has just because there are so many false finishes. I guess it depends on if you mean kicked out of a pedigree and immediate pin you included situations where there was a pedigree and HHH couldn't immediately go for a pin or the ref had to crawl over or something.

I would assume Orton and Jeff Hardy have kicked out of it.

Lock Jaw 01-26-2010 10:44 PM

Yeah, it is pretty standard nowadays to have the guys on the top level kick out of each other's finishers in big matches.

NoRoolz 01-26-2010 10:47 PM

H is kinda different though. You know when someone's gonna kick out cos he takes about 6 minutes to move across the ring for the pin.

Would love to be a wrestler for a day, be on RAW, get pedigreed, sell it well. Then just kick out after 1.

Mr. JL 01-27-2010 02:35 AM

I am pretty sure HBK kicked out of one at Bad Blood 2004 in the 53 minute Hell in a Cell match.

-edit- never mind The Franchise beat me to it.

Goulet 01-27-2010 06:38 PM

Cena had to have

Juan 01-27-2010 07:16 PM

4

Supreme Olajuwon 01-28-2010 01:28 AM

I've kicked out of it like 6 times. Doesn't even hurt that bad.

Fignuts 01-28-2010 03:19 AM

StingerSplash4Lyf 01-29-2010 11:35 PM

Damian Rey 02-01-2010 08:20 PM

Didn't it take two Pedigrees to put Foley out for WM2000? Coulda sworn he got the shoulder up almost immediately after taking the 1st one.

Team Sheep 02-02-2010 12:00 AM

Yeah I was gonna mention WM2000, pretty sure he kicked straight out of a pedigree then. Then took another one and lost.

Damian Rey 02-05-2010 02:51 PM

Also, Jeff hardy kicked out of it in an Elimination Chamber match, and took a second one on a chair to get put down.

Loose Cannon 02-06-2010 07:15 PM

yea the days of hitting your finisher and getting the pin are over, so like thed said, mainly people probably have in the last couple years

The Pope 02-13-2010 04:14 PM

I didn't read all the posts so if anyone said Batista already my bad. Not sure of it but he may have done it at Wrestlemania in their Heavyweight title match.

James Steele 02-14-2010 03:08 AM

I'll have an sequential list of this made by the end of the month.
