That was hilarious. For the past year & a half, I've been hearing nothing but how incredible Punk is. His first match on TV, he spends 3/4 of it selling for Justin Credible. JUSTIN CREDIBLE. I'm not detracting from Punk or anything, but I can just imagine Vince backstage when they're booking the match:
Vince: So what do we have up next?
John Laurinitis: We've gotta great new kid here, got a really unique gimmick. Says his name is.... C.M. Punk.
Vince: Ooooh, sounds promising! Where did he come from, Raw or Smackdown?
John: Actually... neither. He came from the indies. Worked some ROH too.
Vince:
You're tellin me he didn't come from Raw?
John: Nope...
Vince: and he didn't come from Smackdown? I didn't make him?
John: No, listen, I think we can..
Vince: No way he's going over strong.
John: What?
