LOL. Rich wasnt being a stubborn tool. Rich's strong game is standing. Silva is a black belt in BJJ, so if they went to the ground, it would be just as hard for Rich as it was standing up. That said, I still think if I was in Rich's spot, I would of underhooked, and looked for a single leg sweep to get out of the clinch. Sucks for Rich, but everyone wins and loses.
And the next person Silva will fight will be Mike Swick, if I have done my numbers right that is. Also, he will have one of the TUF 4 dudes to contend with soon enough. I dont think any of those fighters on the show are anywhere near the caliber of either Rich or Anderson though..so not sure what is going to happen now.
Strong performance by Silva though, definelty going to shut up any critics with that powerhouse win.
