LOL. Rich wasnt being a stubborn tool. Rich's strong game is standing. Silva is a black belt in BJJ, so if they went to the ground, it would be just as hard for Rich as it was standing up. That said, I still think if I was in Rich's spot, I would of underhooked, and looked for a single leg sweep to get out of the clinch. Sucks for Rich, but everyone wins and loses.

And the next person Silva will fight will be Mike Swick, if I have done my numbers right that is. Also, he will have one of the TUF 4 dudes to contend with soon enough. I dont think any of those fighters on the show are anywhere near the caliber of either Rich or Anderson though..so not sure what is going to happen now.

Strong performance by Silva though, definelty going to shut up any critics with that powerhouse win.

I dunno man, all he had to do was watch some tapes of Silva's standup...hell just go on the internet and see how much of a machine the guy is. Silva to my knowledge has not been k.o.ed and if he has it's been minimal...however he has been submitted on several occasions. Gotta use your head in that situation especially as the champ.

Now I give him 100% credit for not being a pussbag and going for broke, he coulda just lay back and fought cautious but wanted to give the fans what they wanted. Problem is, his face got rearranged. Hopefully he comes back stronger cuz I like the guy.

LOL I have to say I feel sorry for whatever tuf guy wins, cuz they had their hands full enough having to go against Ace, who is amachine. Now they have a whole different problem.
