Since we're talking gun play and sword play, the transition between the two should be smooth, but it's not. Like both the guns and the melee weapons themselves. Melee action is slow, and you pause at the end of virtually every attack, as though you're waiting for an FMV "death" scene. I like Hack and Slash and I like Dungeon Crawlers to an extent, but I am readily bored by the gameplay. The graphics are decent, if dated, and you have glitches that shouldn't exist in any game this side of 2000.
If you're hard pressed for a dungeon crawler and don't mind that it's a sub-par one, then you may still want it. You level up fast, get loot every three seconds, and there's no penalty for dying except the pain of watching the death sequence every time.

Basically. Since there's a bit of a lack of dungeon hacks for the 360, I'm still plodding my way through it, but yeah those three big things really get to me about this:
1. The camera is ridiculous. I haven't seen camera this bad since the PS1/N64 days.
2. The death sequence takes forever. Speaking of forever, the status effects are ridiculous too. Long after a fight is over, you'll go from full health to dead because you are on fire or all radioactive or some shit.
3. Targetting is weak.
These niggers had 10 years to work on this. What the fuck, man?
