Simply put, being a fan of a team doesnt make them immune from your ridicule. Do you think Pens fans for one second condone Matt Cooke's hit on Savard?

Ask LoDownM who is a Pitts fan whether he tried to defend Cooke. I dont believe he did, he knew it was a dirty hit.

Being a fan is about loving the franchise, it is not about defending any actions of the players wearing the sweater.
