- The world (which includes off terra locations like Mars and the Moon) has a day/night cycle and plenty of places to explore. The guardian hub is where you start and meet people. It seems you won't have a point where 1000 players are in one place, that doesn't seem to be what Bungie wants.
- You can get a spacecraft (earning it some way) to travel off world, andthere will be different types. Whether traveling is a 'warp' with a loadscreen or actually you space traveling is up in the air. Bear in mind the last big innovation for Bungie's Halo was a space dogfight.
- There are three classes so far; Titan (guns), Hunter (marksman), and a Warlock or something who uses "magic". Knowing Bungie's pedigree I doubt it's actually magic in the mystical sense, but some cosmic tech that might as well be magic in a Jack Kirby sense. Technically speaking for gameplay - yeah it's pretty much magic. How these classes differ in gameplay (health, damage, etc) is yet to be revealed, as well as whether there are more classes.
- There are vehicles to use, but I don't know if you can claim one to have always or if you find them.
- There is competitive PvP, but you opt into it. There are no 'PvP Zones' or whatever. In this mode you can earn stuff to have and to hold anywhere.
- Your character is fully customizable; weapons, gear, fashion.
- The social aspect they're leaning to probably means factions/guilds/clans but we'll see.
- One type of enemy are 'Space Zombie' things.

This sounds like a complete clone of Old Republic.
