I think I'm getting a PS2 this weekend.

KB Toys has 20% off the whole store on Sat and Sunday.

So, that's puts it under $150.00...

Not bad

I paid about £300 for mine. It came with two games (GT3 and Crazy Taxi), memory card, steering wheel and an extra controler.

everyone I know including myself has had problems with a ps2. Ours broke twice on us and it still has problems. Words of advice: Get an Xbox

You're refering to the Disk Read Errors and those are corrected in the new versions of the PS2. They are practically bug free unless you drop it and smash it with a hammer.

Xbox's are just as accident prone as the PS2s on the market today.

Get a PS2. The new GTA comes out this year.

I got mine for 300 came with 2 games two controllers and 1 memory card.

I'm going w/ PS2. I'll probably only get sports games and the people I'd want to play over the net have a PS2.

Madden, NHL, Golf, that will probably be it for me.

As for the "PS3" everything I've read is it's a few years away, there supposivly going to release something in between called the "game center" or something.

If you want to play Madden, or any EA Sports title online, you will have to get a PS2 because they don't like Xbox Live.

got it, extra controler, extension cable, memory card, network adapter, Games: Mafia, Madden, NHL, Tiger Woods Golf.

Of course it will take me a week to remember to set it up, and probably a lot longer to get used to the controls.

I feel like I'm in the current century now.
