Obviously Hilly needed to leave but I am 100% certain there was a MUCH better deal available. Hell, giving up only Chulk for Accardo is a loss for Toronto. What JP should have done is gotten 1 or 2 prospects mediocre to below average prospects. Guys that probably aren�t going to make the big leagues are better than a guy with an ERA of almost 5 in an NL pitchers park.

The flaw in your argument, Miz is that every else agrees that the Jays got a good prospect in return. Chulk, well I don't quite understand why he was included, but he's been nothing short of mediocre.

I heard the Padres where interested in acquiring Beltre. Seems like a big payday to pick up for a guy that's overpriced for what he delivers. Never mid the fact that Petco field is seen as a pitchers park, so his (Beltre) offensive numbers would presumably be expected to drop further.

Exactly, Beltre had that one incredible year a couple years back. Many picked him up first round fantasy wise the next year but stunk it up big time. Many felt Beltre had the monster year to get that huge contract.

I hate Fox Saturday Baseball. I wanted to see Cubs/Nats today(they were the early game) and instead I got Sox/Mariners late. And next week they are playing the Cardinals in the late game, but I'm going to get Nats/Dodgers early.

lol every single Fox Baseball announcer really hates Manny Ramirez, granted he did something stupid by watching a ball that cleary wasn't a homerun, they act like he is the worst person on the face of the earth. "He doesn't play the game the right way!" Shut the fuck up Steve Lyons, he plays the game a lot better than you could ever dream of. Ramirez isn't really a bad guy at all, he just does stupid shit out on the baseball feild. I guess that is worse than getting DUI's though - when is the last time you heard anyone say anything about Furcal on the Dodgers? How about Kenny Rogers when he basically punched a camera man? I hear nothing of that now. That Ramirez though, that guy doesn't play the game THE RIGHT WAY, he is a terrible human being.
