Well, not "never again", per se. But their match had better just be a match. A steady flow of terrible acting will definitely put off a crowd. Let the crowd develop a reason to welcome Carlito back and ease into the new tag team before trying to "make them funny".

Yeah, I used their OVW name, just because it sounds better and it didn't hide the obvious homosexuality of the characters. They were incredibly entertaining in whatever they did, and not a bad team in the ring.

Well, slimming down for Carlito in this new team is probably a good thing. It'd allow him to keep up with Primo a lot easier, and let them mesh a lot more fluidly as a tag team.
