Clapton/Hendrix.......tough call. Clapton's stuff he did with 'Cream' back in the 70's was awesome. Hendrix also has some great shit. I like them both

I read up on it, it was before Hendrix was signed, when he first came over to the UK looking to get a work permit. Chas Chandler got him upstage with Clapton and Hendrix just went about being the man.
