I'm going to have to go with G.I. Bro errrr King Book... er I mean Booker T this time. He's honestly part of the reason I watched WCW. Granted WWE used him poorly, but that was to be expected seeing as that's their game. Anyways, I'm voting Booker T to keep it interesting. Now can you dig THAT?

Both men are ridiculously charismatic and are about as athletic as they come but Booker never drew close to what Savage did. Booker also had great promos but Savage is one of the greatest promo men in the history of the world. Not to mention that Savage just had an overall bigger influence on professional wrestling as a whole. Valiant effort by Bookman but Savage takes this for me.

lol. And Tedious... Your logic on these things is a bit "completely fucking ridiculous."
Benoit was close to beating HBK on here and he murdered his family. Certainly a horrible rap album can be forgiven if we're in the business of handing out "It's ok"s to a cold blooded killing machine, no? |

Its prolly cause I havent been watching as long as u guys, but my experience with Randy Savage was watching him as this boring guy in WCW and then as a failed raper.
I mean, I watched some of his old stuff in WWE through old tapes and DVDs but he simply didn't entertain me nearly as much as Booker T did in all his years that I watched him. Booker T was great in WcW. He was cool in WWE when he first came in. He was hilarious as King Bookah and now he was pretty good in TNA too. But I was disappoint that he didnt make it to the Rumble but whatever, I think we will see Boker again. Now maybe, maybe its because I did not grow up to watch Macho Man in context of when he wrestled at his best, but this is why I cant pick Macho over the Book Man! Now you can DIG THAT, SUCKAAAAAAAAAS! lol!v |

Yeah the Steamboat match was something else. Still holds up today
Also the one with Warrior at WM 7 was crazy good and of course WM 8 vs Flair Savage was Mr Wrestlemania before HBK came along |

Thats a great pair to look at. Who is better? Really really tough. Savage was pretty good all his run, either in WWE or WCW... And was smart enough to drop out when he should have. Booker T was one of the best athletes in pro wrestling, and pretty innovative. I think Savage takes it be default however just because he was involved in some huge matches at the beginning of the era of sports entertainment, and has a bigger chapter in the history of pro wreslting.

Savage. I never really cared about Booker T until his main event push that caught my interest in WCW. Didn't give 2 shits about him in WWE.

"Hot Diggity Damn!" Best Line Ever to the winner The Macho Man.
I have liked Booker T on and off, but hate Carmelle enough to keep the sucka down. Last edited by Stealth-Icon; 02-05-2010 at 11:29 PM. |

Going with Macho Man. Booker T was good to great in the mid to late WCW era while WWE made a huge mistake not pushing him over Triple H in Wrestlemania 19. Booker T ended up loosing all the momentum built up from his WCW days and early Invasion days and really didn't get it back until the King Booker phase of his career.
Both wrestlers were charismatic and had good wrestling ability but Savage had the better career in the long term than Booker T had. WCW was smart though to pick him as their champion when the company was in a mess since the crowd was behind him even if the company itself didn't last long enough to benefit from it. |

Savage, easy, he's one of the top five guys ever. Nobody worked a crowd like Savage. If your going to be a heel in WWE they should make you watch Savage's debut against Rick Mcgraw.

This guy knows his stuff. Yeah, I mentioned his debut with McGraw in Round 1 for Savage. It was pretty amazing to watch him work those fans that had never seen him before into an absolute frenzy. Posted the video as well.

Btw, I refused to act surprised when the final match-up is Savage/Hennig. Feel like Supreme is going to do a "Haha, I'm clever. I'm doing the same match-up and everyone is going to flip" type thing.

Nostalgia wins the day for me.
Randy Savage is one of the all time greats of the business. Sure he had his problems backstage from time to time, but the man is an absolute legend. My only wish for him would be that he had bowed out earlier. There are a lot of fans who (as one of the posters above said) just remember his stint in WCW. Which for his standard was lacklustre. I have many outstanding memories of Macho Man matches and promo's. Thinking about it now I cannot think of a single time when I was engaged by or enjoyed anything Booker T has ever done. I don't find him to be talented and have personally hated all of his gimmicks and that spinaroonie nonsense he used to pull was absolutely pathetic. Plus Sharmelle is the most pointless person to ever appear on television. |

I actually enjoyed his 1996-1998 WCW stint. The whole lunatic character was pretty awesome.

I didn't vote for Benoit either, therefore my unwillingness to forgive a bad rap album is consistent with my unwillingness to forgive double-murder-suicide.
