Laptop is being weird.
I don't turn off my laptop that often, I usually just close it and when I want to use it again I just open it up. Lately, whenever I just open it up it stays as a black screen. The blue power button stays blue, but the screen is completely blank and I do not see the cursor. So I just have to hold down the off button and restarted it that way.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Insert Signature Here |

Shut it down properly. When you don't it goes into sleep/standby mode and has to restart/reboot and come out of hibernation. If it's shut off improperly it will run scandisk and the startup will be delayed.
Start-Turn Off Computer-Shut down. How hard is that? |

It's a toshiba.
I don't want to shut it down all the time, if I'm going back and forth from doing stuff to computer stuff I don't want to start and restart all the time. |
