Yeah, they shouldn't bail on Wade Barrett as NXT leader yet. They have something to actually build his heat up. Just have him give someone else the title of NXT leader while he is gone. David Otunga would make the most sense. They cut promos about how the WWE is trying to keep back Barrett, but they are working on ways to bring him back. Michael Cole can sheepishly add that Otunga went to Harvard Law school, so he is looking for a way past Barrett's "suspension."

You could even have Barrett occasionally air a video taken from England talking shit to the WWE. Then you just have him slide into the ring at SummerSlam or thereafter, after John Cena has either won the WWE Title or successfully defended it. He picks up Cena for The Wasteland, nails it, and we have a new WWE Champion.

For the record, I'm not necessarily in favor of my idea, it's just something that I can definitely see the WWE writers going with - especially since it's being "reported" that the scripts are being written more short-term than ever before.

Yeah. I always thought there was a mastermind behind the Nexus, or at least somebody who planted this idea in their head...I figured they'd drag it out a long while but if Barrett is going to potentially be out until mid-August or later, I think they might reveal that person sooner rather than later.

Not that I want them to go that route, but IF they were going to - I could see the Raw GM "suspending" Barrett and then borrowing some familiar faces on SmackDown and making the remaining Nexus guys compete in a 7-on-6 handicap match against the Season 1 Pros. Jericho turns on the WWE guys, and bam...you have your mastermind.

Hope they don't rush it...although it would be good to have a guy who can definitely talk. Otunga and Tarver are okay, but they are nowhere on par with what Barrett was on the mic. Jericho could fill that void.

You can become eligible to apply for naturalization if you've been a full-time resident for at least 5 years. Wiki lists him as residing in Fayeteville, Georgia, but even if he is living here full-time I don't imagine he has a lot of time to take the necessary test. I know he's married with kids, but I don't know if his wife is a citizen or not.

Seriously, because I read and have commented on the portion where he might be back soon, but that was far from definitive, even as rumours go.

Granted, some rumours are bullshit, but this one is pretty clear-cut: The visa issues have been cleared up, and Barrett may be back as soon as Monday. If he's back on Monday, we know it's true. If he's not back on Monday, we know it's not. Simple.

Somebody would be sacked at our place if they let work permits expire. Slack business practice by WWE if it's true. Even more stupid if someone has leaked it and it's easily resolved. Would make for a great storyline though.

Otunga is the best talker, but can't back it up when the time would come to wrestle (and if he became the leader for now, he'd presumably be in a big match). Sheffield and Tarver aren't bad talkers, but they come across as the enforcers of the group and that would be lost if one of them lead. Gabriel is too nervous on the microphone. Young also isn't that good on the mic and looks too goofy to be the leader. And nobody should have to take orders from Heath Slater.

It wouldn't be a permanent leadership for whoever took over. That's why I think Otunga is the best choice. He's just the best talker. You wouldn't need him to get in the ring. He could take a backseat driver kind of role.

Deciding their ranks by their order of elimination is also an easy way to go about things. Barrett won, he's the leader. Then you've got Otunga, Gabriel, Slater, Young, Sheffield and Tarver (the enforcers at the bottom). It seems to work well enough.

I think the NXTers seemed a little bit lost without their leader on Raw. The attack on the legends took a lot longer then it should have. I'll be glad if he's back on Raw this Monday.

As for Drew, I thought he was supposed to be getting some time off to go on a Honeymoon. So, I say give him a little bit more time off to celebrate. Not sure if the INS would like if WWE announced that Vince McMahon got him out of his deportation.

Good thing Wrestlemania happened in Arizona after that immigration law passed.

Well, I don't know how much credibility to give it, but there's a report on the front page saying Barrett should be available for use tonight, and same with McIntyre for tomorrow's SmackDown! taping.
