If you don't think it was worth it, do something productive about it. Stop watching their programming and don't buy Mania or any other PPV's this next year. Trust me, if that many people were legitimately dissatisfied and actually stopped buying/watching, they would make changes to try and improve their product eventually. It's simple business, economics and capitalism folks. |

I think some of it has to do with the fact that they're more and more becoming, or trying to become, a "legit", global entertainment company, and not just a wrestling company. They're in a strange transition period IMO and it seems they're no longer about developing and promoting a wrestling show/product, and more about developing and promoting their "superstars" and their relationships with third parties, like sponsors, movies/DVD's, products like toys, etc. When you expand as a business, your prior products will often begin to suffer in quality. |

Apart from a flat main event, I liked this. Could pick holes in it, but won't because I prefer to focus on what I enjoyed and ignore the bits I did.
No one will ever love every second of a 4 hour PPV, just take away the good things and appriciate the effort and the overall show |

Edge/Del Rio was a good opener. Surprised to see a World Title curtain jerk.
Punk/Orton was entertaining. Rhodes/Mysterio was great, Rhodes has come on leaps and bounds. Both tag matches where forgettable, except for COBRA! Cole/Lawler was poor. Cole looked like he had a rod up his ass for most of the match, and the finish was a fucking joke. Had to end with a few Stunners though. I though Taker/HHH was terrible. Watching the last two Taker Mania matches with HBK I was hanging on every move thinking either of them could realistically win at any moment. This year it was just....slow...you knew Taker would kick out of pedigrees and tombstones. However, I wouldn't have called the tap out finish. Miz/Cena was alright, the tackle over the barrier looked brutal for both guys, and I rather enjoyed seeing The Rock screw Cena. Overall, not the worst WM ever, but pretty mediocre. |

Despite how excited I really was for this years Mania, probably the most I've been looking forward to Mania in 7-10 years, somehow I had set my expectations pretty low for WM27. Needless to say I was pretty damn happy with it and thought it was $ well spent. |

I can't say that I'm surprised that folks are bitching about the Taker/HHH match. I think the last two WM matches with HBK were so great, that this match never had a chance to live up to them for some folks. If you put that aside though, I think you'll see that this years HHH vs Taker match was really good, not as good as either of HBK/Taker, but really good nonetheless. HHH is not HBK and he doesn't work the same style as Michaels, not as fast paced, etc. All things considered, ages, styles, HBK WM expecations, the match was really good IMO. I also really loved the way they pushed Taker as the old, worn out, veteran that just wouldn't quit or stop fighting, and how he was kinda dimented and kept "shadowboxing", didn't seem to know where he was or if the match was over or what, but he was just gonna keep going. |

Honestly felt like "just another monthly PPV" to me. HHH/Taker was OK, nothing special at all.
Cole/Lawler = Bret/Vince from last year. Except way less satisfying for me personally. Snookie impressed me with how much her belly jiggled during her little "spot." The Main Event was horrible. It was rushed, and ever time Miz is in the ring with Cena, I can't help but remember how bad Cena destroyed him only 9 months ago or so. How the fuck can they justify that, and how the Miz is now? Anyway, it was the worst main event in Mania history if you subtract the Rock from it. Overall, very disappointing. 4.5/10 Wrestlemania Ranking. |

Saw it at the bar, good times.
Edge/Del Rio was odd as the first match, okay match. Car bit was a bit much. Rhodes/Mysterio was good, glad Cody won. Rey rey always looks like a fucking downs kid in his outfits. Corre loses in 1:18 seconds. LAWL. Punk/Orton was good. Wish they would've had more time (as did they) Cole/Lawler was interesting. Cole entertained me, reminded me a bit of Heenan. Went on too long. The GM thing was kind of stupid. Ruined the ending. THANK GOD JR CALLED THE REST OF MANIA. Triple H/Undertaker was great. Edge of my seat the entire match. Camera work was perfect, facial expressions were perfect, and no one has ever taken Taker to the limit like that. The match showed what they wanted to show, you can kill The Undertaker, but you can't kill the streak. Plus Triple H's entrance was fucking amazing. Best match of the night by far. 6 Person Tag: Bathroom breaks are good. Snookie has big tits. Morrison still sucks. Whatever. Cena/Miz 1: Cool Promos, Cena booed out of the building. Shit end. Cena/Miz 2: After a night of Rock burying Cena on the Mic he physically buries Cena, Miz retains (lesser of two evils I guess), and then Rock buries Miz. None of this makes sense unless Rock is going to put the trunks back on and bring his A game. If not then anyone who wants to talk about holding down talent should talk about The Rock. He buried the top Heel and Face of WWE in one event. The ending looked rushed as hell, very awkward. Should've just let Taker/Triple H close the show. Mistakes were made, oh well. Overall a decent mania. 6/10. Orton/Punk, Triple H/Taker, and seeing Miz/Cena buried made for a pretty good night. |

TNA Wrestling performer Kurt Angle, a former WWE Champion, posted numerous messages on his Twitter account during WrestleMania XXVII criticizing Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler for using his trademark finishing maneuvers during their respective matches.
The tweets are as follows: "To WWE wrestlers, Don't use my Finish. Get more Creative. Hmmmm- Orton. Did I say that." "I heard Orton had an Awesome match though. Ur welcome. Lol." "I guess Swagger will use my Ankle Lock as well.Very creative. I'm the Best in the World. You Guys will never be Kurt Angle.can I get an AMEN." "Kurt Angle will never die. TNA. WWE. I'm a leader. Not follower." "Why would WWE use my finishes? Is it because I won't go back? R Orton- Angle Slam. M Cole- Ankle Lock? They have some nerve." "Jerry Lawlor did it too. But He is a Legend. Randy Orton issued a response on Twitter to Kurt Angle's rant regarding wrestlers using the Ankle Lock:
"Everythings been done before as far as 'moves' go in the sports entertainment. I want to thank SCSA for the 'Thesz Press'. And I know for a fact that SCSA got the 'Thesz Press' from Dutch Mantel. Point being, instead of taking offense to someone using your move, consider it a sign of respect. Btw does anyone know what Ken Shamrocks finish was? I believe Jack Swagger used ankle lock outta respect for Ken?" |

Not bad. Pretty much what you'd expect from a Cena match, but with the added excitement of the Miz retaining and The Rock's involvement. The ending pretty much confirms that the Rock will stick around after Mania and actually get in the ring soon. Plus, it was cool that the crowd was still that hot at the end of the show. Made for a memorable night IMO

The whole "People ALWAYS say 'Worst WrestleMania ever'" argument is lame. It's like no WrestleMania can ever be the worst ever because people will just say "Oh, someone ALWAYS says that!"
I really don't think anyone, whether it be Lara Emily or anyone else, has an extreme bias towards WWE in either direction. I'm pretty sure no one here works for TNA or WWE and is trying to sway people's minds by saying "Best ever", "Worst ever" or anywhere in between. No one has anything to gain by stating their feelings.... including myself. All that being said, I have watched WrestleMania yearly live ever since I can remember. Even those I don't remember seeing live, I've watched. I've seen every one multiple times... this was, without a doubt, one of the worst. Just atrocious. Even going in realizing that the card was pretty lackluster, it still was a huge let down to me. Really, they went with a different feel this year and it just fell flat on it's face. Nothing of note came from it. I know everyone's juiced about Miz retaining and Rock helping and all. But let that feeling die down and just think about that ending. 5 years from now I feel like people will look at this WrestleMania and either say "That was the beginning of the end" or "Wow, WrestleMania really kinda just took a year off back in 2011, didn't it?" |

its the fact that she isnt a "superstar" and she pulled that handspring thing off pretty damn flawlessly. everyone expected her to be a fat sack of chud but she showed she was athletic to some point. after seeing that, i would deff let her show me her athleticism in the bedroom, but lights would still be off.

i didnt like the order of the matches, but it wasnt that big a deal to me. as bad as you guys say the taker/hhh match was, i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. i kept thinking trips was gonna do it, and thought the symbolism of the tombstone was sealing the deal. i am huge on hoping they never kill the streak, so this was bothering me, lol. i loved the constant kicking out from taker, it helps mold the thought that on the biggest stages of them all, in any sport the best find ways to win, and dig down and reach another level. also that spot with cena and the miz, when cena tackled him over the barracade seemed rough. it looked like miz was legit knocked loopy. but above all, my biggest mood killer, was when my mom saw the miz, cena, and the rock in the ring at the same time, and calmly and casually said this statement...."that would be a deff 4 way"

I am not at all disappointed with WrestleMania. Not one bit. I didn't order it, and I feel good about that decision. I got all I needed to know from reading the reviews and this thread, and it doesn't seem like I really missed anything. Plus, that's nearly 60 bucks saved right there. Kind of sad that no titles changed hands. I mean, personally I didn't want Cena or Del Rio coming out as champion, so I'm not complaining. It's just kind of surprising that after a WrestleMania, we have no new champions.
And speaking of Del Rio, I caught a lot of shit awhile back when I said he should have won the IC title first, and that at this point I just couldn't see him as champion. I caught hell for saying he wasn't ready, and probably wouldn't win. People told me he didn't need the IC belt, that he was going to be the next WHC, and that he was going to main event WrestleMania. And look at what happened. Not only did he NOT win the title, but his match OPENED THE SHOW. Apparently, I'm not the only one who thought he wasn't quite ready. Sorry to be a dick, but I've been waiting 3 months to say this.......TOLD YOU SO! I don't hate Del Rio, and I'm confident he will be the world champion one day. Just not today. Maybe now they can build his character up a little more naturally instead of forcing too much, too soon. |

Yeah they thought the idea was crap, and yet.......oh snap! Del Rio lost and got the opener instead of the main event. Now maybe the IC belt wouldn't have helped, and maybe it would have. Either way, he still didn't win. He still didn't main event. And obviously something different should have been done. At least I made a suggestion. What useful thing have you done lately? |

I loved this years Mania.
Edge vs Del Rio was great- A solid opener, given a decent amount of time, and I think the right guy won. I would have liked to have seen Xtian hit the killswitch on Brodus Clay, mind you. Rhodes vs Mysterio was great as well. I really thought it would be a by-the-numbers win for Rey, but I liked the psycology of the match, and the right guy went over. The Corre didn't get enough time. Just enough time for for the faces to hit finishers. I'm not greatly unhappy with the match, since I didn't think it would be anything special even given 15 minutes. Orton vs Punk kicked ass too, they really worked their asses off, great spot at the end, tough, hard hitting match. Cole vs Lawler was paced all wrong. I liked the Cole Mine beating, but all it needed was Cole being thrown in the ring after, who distracts SCSA, Swagger gives King's ankle a whack with a wrench or something, AnCole-lock applied, then Jerry fights out of it, piledriver, win. Stunners to Swagger and Cole. Simple. Instead, like this post, we had a rambling match all disjointed and awkward. Taker vs Tripple H was great. Fantastic, actually. Taker was getting his ass kicked, pulled out a desperation move. Did not see that ending coming. The crowd were really into it too. Ofcourse Trips had no chance of winning, but he put on a good show and thats all you really need. At least the shit with Snooki was quick. She did better in-ring than 50% of the Divas, and its always a pleasure to see Trish. The main event, Cena vs Miz, wasn't bad, either. It was a solid main event, Cena was a bit sloppy at the start, but he picked his game up. Miz kicked out of a huge AA. The double count-out was stupid. Especially Miz walking away from the ring. -But then the match was re-started and Cena ate a Rock bottom. So yeah, great PPV, great Mania. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10. The card doesn't look amazing, but I really enjoyed them. Cody/Rey + HHH/Trips were my favourite matches, with Randy/Punk getting an honourable mention. |

I loved 'Mania.
Stone Cold/The Rock was a nice treat (albeit expected); I creamed my jeans @ Trish Stratus (still unbelievably smoking); Snooki I have to say impressed me with that little cartwheel move; Undertaker/Trips was very entertaining & dramatic, glad HBK didn't get involved; T he original finish to the main event was retarded, but then cool with the restart and when Rocky hit the Rock Bottom on Cena that was great. Was clinging with a hair to a Cena heel turn but that will have to wait. All in all a great shoiw |

That reminds me, so with what happened at Mania who else thinks the Cena heel turn is on its way? I can't help but think he even changed his color to red. Red being much more evil than orange or purple. Granted, the color change is likely a coincidence.....but kind of a funny one.

4 hours is just too long, IMO. By the end of the show it felt disappointing, but looking back now I did enjoy the first hour. It was disappointing that Edge/Del Rio was limited to 10 minutes and felt like something you would see weekly on Smackdown.
I think the big problem the people who don't like it have is that there wasn't really a memorable match on the card other than maybe HHH/Taker. Like others have said, everything else just felt like a normal PPV. Not bad, just meh. |
