Tigers are stressing me out already. Hard to get a gauge of where they'll be after just 3 tough road games, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Since Buck Showalter took over the Os the Orioles have the 2nd best record in baseball behind the Phillies.

Miguel Cabrera is going to have another MVP-caliber season, that's all I know. Best pure hitter in baseball, forget Pujols.

Their pitching has been horribly over-rated before the season started. Verlander is the only pitcher on the staff that has put together a full season. Not including Penny, because Penny blows at this point.

Hot start for the Reds. Also the catching platoon of Ramon Hernandez and Ryan Hanigan put up a combined stat line of 9 H, .750 AVG, 5 R, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 2.333 OPS in the series. That'll work.

The Red Sox starting catcher was once demoted because he couldn't throw the ball to the Pitcher! He ALMOST missed through the ball to Wakefield on Saturday. This will be quite a season behind the plate for the Red Sox Sox.

Os beat the tigers 5-1 to move to 4-0. Havent trailed in a game yet and haven't allowed but 1 run each game. They get Verlander on Wednesday and Guthrie has pneumonia so who knows whos gonna pitch for the Os...

Me too! Nova did pretty well actually. He went 6 innings with only 3 runs given up. After the horrible start by Hughes the day before that's actually real good. Nova wasn't amazing but he got the job done.

They announced on Quick Pitch last night that A-Rod had tied Rafael Soriano for 14th place on the all time RBI list.

Look, I know that certain members of the media are trying very hard to erase a very productive yet roid-reeking career from the history books, but turning him into a mostly American League relief pitcher with all of 4 career at bats under his belt is no way to go about that.

Pretty funny slip-up, I thought.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I LIKE the Orioles...

...they may not win the Division or the Wild Card, but they may definitely play a big role in determining who gets into the Playoffs and who doesn't.

...it's only been a week since the season started, but to me, the Phillies don't look right...they don't inspire me much confidence.

Yeah, but I don't know...aside from pitching, I sometimes get the feeling at some point during the season they are going to scuffle and the Braves will finish up overtaking them.

I don't think the Rangers will "steamroll" their division, because, frankly, I don't believe in their starting rotation. I do think they can win the division, but they're not going to coast on in if they don't get another ace arm like they did with Lee last year. I think their main competition will be the A's, who have an stacked rotation which, if their offense scored just enough, could carry them.

Nice to see the O's getting to a great start. I don't think it's going to last, honestly. I do like the potential of their rotation, though.

Padres got hammered by the Giants today. They were down 8 to 1 and scapped to lose 8 to 4.

Red Sox

Everything that was fixed or improved has been horrible.

Bullpen gets fixed but they still suck as bad as last year.
Offense improves and yet they can't score when its needed.
Starting Pitching was expected to improve and its worse than last year so far.

Weirdly, Ortiz struggled early last year but so far he's been good stats-wise.

Worst part is this was actually predicted to happen by an analyst on NESN or somewhere else who noticed the Red Sox half-assed their Spring Training preparations.
