I think Matt gets treated unfairly by the internet at times. Matt may be a bit of a screw-up today, but at least he's still trying. Jeff shits all over the industry and somehow still has a job.

Either way, both of them have lost the plot now.

Both have had the opportunity but thrown it all away. Jeff for some reason is marketable and Matt isn't, so Jeff gets the continued shots at the top to sell merch while Matt unfortuantely gets lost in the shuffle. For all his good / bad points Matt is bland, Jeff is anything but bland.

Jeff's fuck ups can be attributed to one thing: drugs. Every mistake he has made relates back to drugs.

Matt on the other hand doesn't even have that "excuse". Seems he's just that way naturally.

Agree 100% although the bigger fuck up is whoever decided to let him go through the curtain that night. It would never have happened in WWE as Vice would have sent him home adn rebooked the ending, not just thrown him out into the ring and said "ah, it'll be alright".

I'm going with Matt on this one. From 2004 on he just came across as a person that didn't have it all together and through the years we've seen that grow especially in more recent years.

I agree Jeff doesn't have it all together, but I don't think he's really that bad. Yes, the drugs issue is dangerous, but I don't think he's mentally unstable. Matt is just flat out crazy.

I'd go with Matt Hardy. If only because it used to be understood that he was the "normal" one and we all kinda liked him and wanted to see him succeed.

Jeff. If you look at it, Jeff was a main event talent and has had the opportunity to be pushed to the moon by two different promotions. He threw it all away at the peak of his career.

Matt was never given the chance to be anything more than midcard at best. Hell, WWE viewed him as so expendable that they fired him during the Edge/Lita fiasco even though he was the one wronged.

Matt's fuck ups these last couple years come as his career/worth in wrestling is on a decline. Jeff could have been the face of TNA (not saying much, but still...).

I agee about Jeff by far. If I'm not mistaken, Jeff was booked to become TNA world champ in 05 but no showed the event? Can't be more of a fuck up than that

Both are morons but Matt has screwed up a lot more considering Jeff's main problem is drugs while Matt seems to have gone somewhat crazy lately.

One of the reasons TNA hired Matt Hardy was to help him control and straighten up Jeff from his drugs problems but instead Jeff got worse while Matt Hardy started to do a lot more stupid stuff. He also started to get a lot more sloppy in the ring and got a lot more verbal about being upset even though he stopped caring about working hard enough to change the situation while in the WWE.

Jeff screwed up a lot more based on his status as a main eventer multiple times but he did make a lot more money for both the WWE and TNA compred to Matt Hardy's time with both companies. The WWE was even willing to "forgive" him for his drug problems multiple times due to him making a lot of money for the company each time he was rehired.

Just want to point out this misconception that Jeff Hardy threw however many opportunities or whatever away. This is a guy who personally chose to walk away from his headline spot as quite literally the most popular wrestler on the planet and repeated big money, long term contract offers from Vince to stay in WWE. The biggest thing he's "thrown away" was his recent TNA run in which, from an "artistic standpoint", he was probably better than he's ever been. He'd clearly stopped caring/was completely burnt out by the time his 2003 WWE release came around and he simply stopped showing up at TNA shows during his first stint there, showing how much he really cared. And in both of those instances, he returned to those companies and achieved unparalleled success in regards to what he'd done there previously.

This is a 200/210lb guy without a muscle in sight that pretty much does as he pleases in a business where it does you good to say "yes please" who became the most popular wrestler on Earth and a multiple time World champion. I'd have a hard time calling him the biggest fuck up over any wrestler that has a slight fondness for pills or has a suspension in their past, let alone Matt who appears to have gone off into the deep end and seems to be trying to revel in the image he has created of himself when in fact it's probably going to scare away the few places he could make the living he'd like to.

A few years ago I'd have bet that Matt Hardy could have been employed for life with WWE with much to offer once his active days were done whereas Jeff was always going to pretty much come and go as he pleases since wrestling clearly isn't "the be all and end all" for him. The so-called "biggest fuck-up" is definitely Matt out of the two. Helms is on the verge of being a "never was" at this point. His injury fucked him over at his hottest point/the worst possible time for him, he took 8 steps back upon his return, never recovered, was released and made some dick comments about Shawn Michaels.

While Matt is a fuckup in his personal life, acts like a little girl who just discovered myspace, and allowed himself as a "top tier" pro athlete to get in horrendous shape...

I think that Jeff is the worse of the two. Federal drug charges (in double digits), makes fully moronic videos, and showed up to MAIN EVENT a ppv against a legend in the making so fucked up that he could barely walk.

Frankly it's insulting that people that have made it that far in wrestling just fuck around and act like assholes. There are people, such as myself, who would love the chance to do what they're doing at the level they are doing it at. It's really insulting both as a fan and as a wrestler.

However... As a recovering addict (3 years clean), they both need help in a serious way and I hate to see anyone going through that. It's my opinion that tough love is needed in their case. They need to get the straight shit on how they're acting.

I had an awesome idea for an angle that I guess they'll never do where they brought in a 3rd Hardy Brother where their father knocked up some other woman and he ended up turning out normal and smart/intelligent and when he found out he was related to Matt and Jeff he decided to become a wrestler (so he'd sort of be like Christopher Nowinski)..and he'd feud with both of em, always managing to outsmart both of em.

I never could think of a name for the 3rd Brother though..

I think this may be a rehash of the 3rd Steiner Brother Angle I had a long time ago..sort of..I think that the Steiner Angle would have actually been better as to go with "Theres no way Rick and Scott are actually related" though, so maybe something like Scott Steiner brought in a guy to play Rick, who in real life was smart and not completely dumb so he wouldn't hog the spotlight..
