So even though Ohio State is going to go undefeated because of a soft schedule and no pressure to win and they would probably get dismantled by Alabama or Georgia, it will still be nice to say OH MAN IF OHIO STATE WAS THERE THINGS WOULDA BEEN DIFFERENT

It depends. I'll root for most Big Ten schools to do well because it helps the conference's national profile. Michigan can fuck off though.

As Supreme said, the better SEC schools do, the higher profile the games become, etc..

I can't stand conference cocksuckers. It is just an excuse for fans of shitty teams to feel better about their team. "We may suck, but we get our ass kicked by the best so we're slightly better than your team by association." I can't think of a single situation in which I would root for the Texas Longhorns to win shit. There are Big 12 teams that I don't hate and wouldn't mind them being successful, but SEC fellatio that has gone on for the past 5-6 years is getting ridiculous. Yes, the SEC is the best conference but it isn't like every other conference is dog shit. The Big 12 and Pac 12 are both great conferences with a lot of parity and one could argue more talented top to bottom than the SEC. The best in the SEC (Bama, LSU, UF during their run with Tebow) were just better than the others.

See, I want to agree with this. As a Georgia Fan, I root for the Dawgs every saturday. I don't want to root for any other SEC school because they kicked my team ass. I hold grudges kid. It makes me feel better. I feel like that whole 'conference pride' shit is a cop out. It's very similar to being a bandwagon riding cocksucker....NOT YOU, Supreme!

I frequent a local sports board, and many alleged alums of these D1 institutions have real disdain for "t-shirt fans" (aka fans who didn't go to that college but are fans because they buy a t-shirt and ticket). I don't understand this mentality at all. Of course, I'm an OU fan and went to a small regional university so I am biased. College football would barely be bigger than MLS if the only fans were ones who went to those colleges.

Florida wins. So the National Title Game hunt is officially down to 4 teams: Alabama/Georgia vs. Notre Dame/Florida

As much as I don't want to see an all-SEC Title game again, I'm pretty certain Notre Dame will get crushed by Bama or Georgia. Florida would make for a better game.

Was it in 2000 since Wikipedia says OU won that game 27-24?

Bama last year was the first time the BCS title game didn't have both teams as a champion of their conference (regular season or title game). Also a big reason why people were upset was due to the same reasoning used against Michigan in 2006 was ignored to ensure Bama was picked.

Georgia is an enigma. But i think that the nation will be able to gain interest in the Dawgs if they learn a little more about Gurley and Marshall/The Georgia Defense.

Most NFL cities will appreciate Georgia since most rosters have a UGA alum on it.
