I wouldn't say I was a fan of the Dashing gimmick. It was a bit ridiculous and almost came off as a comedy character. But there were sparks of awesomeness in him that I saw. And that gimmick laid the groundwork for the evolution of what he is today, and what he's still to become. In hindsight, the Dashing gimmick was the best thing that could have happened to him. I did love the Undashing gimmick, though. The mask was perfect at first but it started to get long in the tooth and I'm glad they pulled the plug on it.
