Tomb Raider's Trendy Reboot

I tried to play one of the TR games on PS1. The one that starts in her mansion with some butler following you around.
I just didn't like it so I'll be skipping this.

The death is brutal and I can't say I like it. I think it's because it's Lara, a character that, for all her overly sexualised appeal, was a strong character. So seeing her impaled and hopelessly clawing to get free is a bit unsettling. Even if she is completely fictional.
If it was a random GTA ped or one of the MK guys, I'd probably have found it cool.
