I get what you're saying. Unless they really showed the people getting killed though, there's not much they could have done... Chase scenes, or butcher scenes wouldn't really work in a movie like this. I understand, when one of the suspensful scenes build up, you want more excitement, and more of a release then just BAM, next scene.

This did bother me a little, but only in terms of one scene real

IN the scene where Raimi is leaving the office, and Yoko comes back minus her jaw, I think they should have done something more than just screaming. That was the only time that really annoyed me. It was obvious Yoko wasn't a ghost, or a spirit, so they could have actually had that scene go on longer.

Besides that, I'm happy a lot of scenes that didn't involve dying were cut off too, because like said above, the acting wasn't great. I'd hate to have to sit through Gellar sobbing because she saw a spooky reflection in the window.
