MVP
I am calling it right now. MVP is World Champ within 2 years.
I just watched WM 23 today (We are delayed a few days in Iraq) and From his entrance, to his amazing match with Benoit he reeled me in. He looks goofy but he has a great character, and he plays it well. When he does his Elbow drop with the "Ballin'" free throw shot before it, he had the crowd in his hands. Great Charisma. Everyone has said he is ok in the ring, but I really think he held his own with the Best Technical Wrestler on the Roster. I know Benoit makes people look good, but MVP was on par with him. A Fued with Benoit his perfect to help him grow and get over. Benoit is a guy that even when he isnt in the Main event is still thought of as a Main Eventer. The fans love him and know he can go, so he is a good guy to help get young guys over. Fueding over a US title doesn't hurt him, and makes then look better. Alot like Kane. Losses or not, Kane is still thought of highly by the fans (hence why he jobs alot, because he still looks strong and puts over talent) very few guys can do that. The IWC may see it as Kane and Benoit jobbing, but the average fan sees it as "Wow, that guy beat Benoit and Kane" Wow, I got off subject. Any way, MVP looked real good in his match, and his entrance was the hotness. The WWE needs to have those Cheerleaders there, ALWAYS. Working the sports themes into his gimmick is cool too. I have not marked for anyone is years, and I am a MVP mark! |
